I've tested the water leak sensor by pouring some water on it. Was notified quickly plus I can also tell on my SmartThings app the temperature to avoid freezing pipes.

A slight different in size that previous predecessor but overall great addition to my existing system. Pretty easy to install as well.

My water heater is difficult to get to, so I put this sensor on the floor near it and has worked great and gives peace of mind

We travel a lot and after one of our trips we noticed that a dehumidifier in the basement had leaked and water was in the basement, fortunately no real damage was done but it really concerned us, if we had been gone longer, it could have been a disaster. Now we put this sensor on the basement floor near the dehumidifier and if there is any water at all it sends us an alert and we can have a family member check it out.

This alarm already saved us once from a water leak. I feel safe with it

Easy to set up, and it works perfectly with the smartthings app. Could not ask for more.

I placed this inside the filter compartment of my central air unit. I set it to alert me if it detected moisture and to then switch off the A.C. unit to prevent damage. It worked amazingly when my unit's drain pan clogged and it shut off the system immediately ensuring I only had a small drop of water to deal with instead of a ruined filter and possibly damaged system. Worth every penny.

I wanted to try this out and placed it under my kitchen sink cabinet in a corner. The water leak sensor itself is quite effective and alerts through notifications to my phone. It will need to be used with Samsung SmartThings hub for it send out notifications or alerts. Incidentally, I had a leak from my water softener and the water / moisture did not reach the sensor (it was in the corner of the under sink cabinet). Hence did not get alerted! So changed the location to place it near the water softener and it worked.

Love this system. It is reliable. Works all the time. Changing whole house to this . Super happy.

Not much to say. Linked it with my SmartThings hub, set up notifications, ran water on it and it notified me.

I was able to verify this worked when my water softener started to leak during the night. Just make sure to set the phone alert to support priority alerts when in do not disturb mode. I did not get a notification until morning when I woke up. Usability rating is low because the battery seems to be draining quite quickly. It would be nice if they gave an option for temperature update rates since that is likely the cause the shortened battery life.

Tested and works as designed but never got the notification as an actual failure/ leak is yet to happen
