    Amazingly quiet dish washer!!

Let me start off by saying that this dish washer is gorgeous and that blue glow in the front, that's not just for looks. It is so quiet, without that glowing blue light in the front, you would be hard pressed to tell if it was actually running or not. The first time I used this dish washer, I opened it maybe 3-4 during a wash cycle just to make sure that it was actually running, it's just that quiet. Before I got this, I used to only run my old one in the mornings as I left for work so that I wouldn't have to listen to it while I was home during the day or night and forget about even thinking about running it while I was trying to sleep, that just wasn't going to happen. This one though, doesn't matter when I run it because I can't hear it. It's amazing. Unlike my old dish washer, this one is stainless steel, so yup, you guessed it, it's a finger print magnet. Thanks to this I've had to learn new ways to clean in order to get the fingerprints off of it. I guess it's just one of the joys of owning stainless steel appliances. I simply love the way the silverware tray is designed. No more having to try to set my silverware in the tray while keeping them from sticking together (think spoon on spoon). With this tray setup, no silverware comes into contact with each other. There's plenty of space so that each one will get fully cleaned. The rinse only feature is nice. If I know I won't be washing dishes that day and I don't want food mess to get caked onto the dishes, I just run the rinse only feature to get the food stuff off the dishes so that I don't have to worry about pre-rinsing every dish before it goes into the dish washer. If I find that I am washing dishes with some food stuff already caked on, I then turn to the zone booster to add a little extra power to wash some of my dishes. There is one feature I'm sure is split between those that like it and those that hate it. That's would be the fact that this dish washer has no dry heating element. Yup, this dish washer only air dries. Although it does have an auto open door feature that helps with speeding up dry time. It also has a little fan that blows to help keep the steam from rising directly onto the counter-top above it. Personally I love this feature as I always air dried my dishes with my old dish washer anyways instead of using the heating element. By the way, there is a way to disable the auto door open feature in case it is not wanted. Another feature I like is the timer countdown. No more guessing how long until the dishes are done. All in all, so far I really like the looks and cleaning power of this dish washer and am glad I got a chance to try it out.

In a family of 5, we generate a great deal of dirty dishes, with varying degrees of filthiness (From very filthy to extremely filthy). Our old dishwasher which came with the house as the builder installed appliance was just not cutting it. The Samsung Top Control Dishwasher with Waterwall is handling everything we throw at and then some. 1. Overall Cleaning Power The dishes that we are washing usually have some bad caked on grime, and so far the waterwall technology is taking care of that perfectly. We also used to have some issues with water spots. The glassware that we are running through is coming out crystal clear. 2. Noise Level This thing is so quiet that when it was first installed, I wasn't even sure it was on. I had to open it and make sure there was water splashing around in there. Compared to my older dishwasher it's like night and day. Almost completely silent. 3. Aesthetics It looks amazing; it blends in perfectly with the rest of my kitchen. The soft blue light that emanates from the handle area when it's running looks really cool.. high tech. The finish screams quality. The wash tub is also stainless steel, which is a really nice addition and also speaks to the level of quality when it comes to materials. 4. Features The features of this dishwasher really set it apart from the other brands. When a wash cycle is completed, it opens the door to air dry the dishes, and does a great job of drying. The top rack adjusts up and down to make room which is a great feature to have for when you wish to wash tall cups or large pots/pans. The silverware racks have slots for individual silverware, which leads to cleaner silverware. The slots also flip up to put whatever else you need to fit into the silverware racks. There are varying wash modes, all of which seem to do a great job. The flex zone feature is great if you have a really badly soiled load of dishes to do, but not enough to fill the whole washer. It concentrates the water pressure on the waterwall (bottom part) which really does an amazing job of un-gunking dishes. If you, like me have had issues with builder supplied appliances that are just not cutting it, and need something with a lot more power, or if you are just looking for a feature filled and beautiful appliance, I highly recommend the Samsung Top Control Dishwasher with Waterwall.

My family recently moved into a new house that included older but very high end-appliances. However, shortly after repiping the house, we had issues with the dishwasher and was able to purchase a Samsung dishwasher through The Insiders program. We selected the Samsung Top Control Dishwasher with Waterwall Technology to replace it. We couldn’t be more pleased.  Samsung is our 3rd brand and high-end dishwasher in the past five years. At our previous house, we had installed a very nice stainless steel dishwasher. Between my experience with the three separate brands, Samsung is by far the best. Appearance:  First and foremost, it is a very nice looking appliance. We went with the black stainless steel model since our existing appliances were black, and it would be a closer match. I couldn’t be more pleased. I love the look, and it does not spot up like our previous brand’s stainless steel model. We used to shine our dishwasher after every two uses, after three weeks and several cycles a week, we have yet to clean the dishwasher, and it still looks as if it has never been used. Noise Level:  Samsung advertises this as a low noise (42 dBa) model. Our previous model was rated at 47 dBa, so apparently, there is a huge difference in 5 dBA because you can barely hear the Samsung dishwasher unless you put your ear to it while it is in running. We no longer have to set our dishwasher to run at 2 am in order to keep it from being an inconvenience.  Cleaning Performance:  The dishwasher cleans amazingly. You have the ability to select specific areas to deep clean with Zone Booster or vary the level for the entire cycle. I have found that it cleans all of our dishes great on the Normal cycle. With kids, we do end up with a lot of lunch containers covered in peanut butter, in those cases, the heavy cycle works better, or just take a minute to do a pre-rinse in the sink before you add it.  AutoRelease Door Drying:  This is one of my favorite features. The door automatically opens about 10 minutes before the cycle completes to aid in the drying process. This helps with the energy efficiency, but it has also helped keep our glasses and dishes free from spots. A side bonus…no more wondering if the dishes in the dishwasher are clean or not.  Overall, my family and I could not be more impressed with this dishwasher, and it has truly made our lives easier. I guess the third time is a charm…Thanks, Samsung!

Warning! Do not buy a Samsung dishwasher!

My dishwasher was under warranty when I first called on April 24, 2018. It is now mid-July and after more than 25 hours on the phone, dozens of emails, six technician visits and countless lies by Samsung, I still do not have a functional dishwasher. Plus, one of the technicians uninstalled the dishwasher and didn't put it back so it is not even attached to the counter any more. And by the way, it's nearly a 4-hour wash cycle. Example of lies I have been told by this disgusting company after they replaced the mother board, water wall and motor: 1. Once a technician comes out twice, we deem it defective and give you a refund. It's been six times so far. 2. Technician needs to come out three times before we can deem it defective. See above. 3. It doesn't work because you aren't running the sanitize feature Okay, still doesn't work. 4. It doesn't work because you are using regular Cascade pods, not Platinum pods. Okay, still doesn't work. 5. It doesn't work because you are using pods, not liquid detergent. Not according to Cascade, but okay, still doesn't work. 6. It works. I don't remember having you over for dinner and you offering to clean up, Samsung, so how would you know that? It leaks, doesn't even get some dishes wet and doesn't dissolve the detergent, liquid or pod. Garbage product from garbage company. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!

I really wanted to give it some time before writing my review. I wanted to make sure that I was as honest as possible and able to give good feedback. I have had this Samsung Waterwall dishwasher now for a few weeks. I am loving it!! It is a very beautiful dishwasher that adds a nice elegance to my kitchen. I love the stainless steel look. (I am still learning how to clean it though) The cleaning can be quite tedious so that it looks pristine, but once cleaned it is beautiful! I love the blue light that shows on the handle so that I know that the dishwasher is currently in use. It turns off when finished with the washing of dishes. The control panel is located on top of the dishwasher which is really nice. I don't have to look at the buttons on the front which adds to the beauty. Each button works and responds well to my commands. I love how it has a countdown clock to let me know how much longer the dishwasher is going to run. The dishwasher has an auto open feature which I am sure is very nice. (I have been unable to utilize that feature because the till comes down on my countertop a little too low which does not allow the door to easily open. I just need to file down the tile and it should work good.) The inside of the dishwasher is very pretty too. It does a fantastic job cleaning my dishes. I am very impressed at how they come out. The glasses are clean without any film residue on them. It dries my dishes well too. I did find that I have to use the sanitize button to ensure that they are thoroughly dry. (my water does not always run very hot) WIth the adjustable shelves, it really helps so that I can get larger dishes in there. Its very easy to adjust with a couple of handles. The drawers slide easily in and out. I think the only complaint I would have with this is that sometimes, the bottom drawer will get off track and I have to readjust it. I feel like there should be deeper grooves to hold the wheels on the track. This is something that I can live with though since I love how the dishwasher performs. It is very quiet. I almost can't hear it so I find myself relying on the blue light on the outside of the dishwasher to tell me if it's running. Overall, this is a very nice dishwasher that runs efficiently, cleans well and dries my dishes very well. It is a very easy dishwasher to learn how to use and my whole family loves it. It's really nice and I would recommend this Samsung Waterwall dishwasher to anyone needing a new one.

The Samsung Waterwall Dishwasher is truly an amazing dishwasher from the its design to the internal components and the waterwall technology. This dishwasher truly does an amazing job cleaning and drying dishes. It leaves dishes sparkling clean without the need of pre-rising them before placing them in the dishwasher, which i must say has made our lives much easier, no more pre-rinsing dishes. I have tested out this dishwasher for about 2 weeks now and it has yet to let me down. I have tested the dishwasher with hard stuck on foods, to greasy pots and pan and each time the dishes come out clean. This dishwasher is equipped "Speed Booster" option. I have had the privilige of trying out the speed booster option on my samsung washer and dryer before so i was pretty confident in it. The speed booster option cuts down the wash time by roughly 30 minutes without sacraficing on the cleaning or drying part. The dishwasher is also equipped with the "Zone Booster" options, which allows you to have the waterwall more focused on the part of the dishwasher lower rack which may need more cleaning, and i tried this out with the pots and pans and also with heavy stuck on food, and it passed with flying colors. All in all and amazing dishwasher. I REVIEWED THIS PRODUCT AS PART OF THE INSIDERS PROGRAM

My $1,000 (including installation) dishwasher is broken not even four months after installation, and what's worse, Samsung is refusing to send a repair person without me jumping through lots of time-wasting hoops. I bought this dishwasher from Best Buy along with included installation and a service contract. It worked great for two months before failing. Now, it spits bits of plastic into the drain and makes a grinding noise. Samsung "customer service" has been worthless. Getting a repair authorized has not happened despite weeks and weeks of calls. They literally leave a voicemail and "close your ticket" while providing a link to an FAQ. The washer has lots of features but clearly has a common problem with failing in this way, judging from other reviews. Samsung isn't standing behind the product and is making it hard to get repairs. If you like hours and hours of wasted time, this machine is for you! Now I am nervous, because I also bought a Samsung range, microwave with vent fan, fridge, washer and dryer. If any of them fail and I have to go through this ordeal again, I'm really going to be unhappy. Steer clear of this unit. When it breaks (and it seems to do so commonly, based on reviews and consumer org ratings) Samsung doesn't stand behind it with prompt repair service.

This is a follow-up to my first review. I chose this dishwasher ONLY because I was told it was eligible for free installation. When they delivery guys came to install this dishwasher it was defective out of the box. Best Buy arranged for a replacement to be delivered and installed a few days later. The second install went just fine. I ran the dishwasher a few times until one day it turned off mid-cycle. I opened the door and there was still a lot of soap and water in the bottom so I re-started the cycle and it turned off again. It was getting late by then so I ran a rinse cycle so the soap and water would drain. It worked fine for a few more weeks until just the other day. I ran it and went to work. When I returned home I noticed the door was open so the cycle had completed. I unloaded some of the dishes and noticed dirty water sitting in the bottom of the dishwasher. I ran a rinse cycle to drain the water. The cycle completed but the water did not drain. I tried another cycle to drain the water and then the dishwasher started giving a leak error that cannot be turned off. I had to turn off the dishwasher circuit to make it stop chiming. There is no way the drain is clogged. A brand new hose was installed and my sink drains perfectly. Also, I completely rinse all my dishes before I put them in the dishwasher so there are no food particles blocking the screen over the drain.

After having purchased a dishwasher within the past few years, I was on the fence whether or not to get an even newer one, since the one we had was doing a fine job. Boy did we make the right choice and go with the new Samsung model with the Waterwall Technology. This dishwasher cleans like there is no tomorrow. First of all the capacity is great. We can easily fit two meals worth of dishes, pot, pans, silverware in to this guy and still not lose the cleaning you get from when you overcrowd a lesser dishwasher. I've ran minimal cycles, Auto cycles, and a full blast Waterwall cycle just to take it for a spin drive. The auto cycle for us does the trick each and every time. Somehow it figures out what needs it the most and what needs it the least and it runs its course. Dishes come out each and every time dry and clean. (The door popping open feature is great at the end of the cycle - saves money and dishes dry faster). We did a large family sized lasagna one day and after 3 days in the fridge and all the leftovers gone, I put it in the rack and gave it the Waterwall feature and the glass tray was cleaner somehow from when I first started. It truly did clean the heck out of it, and I did not pre soak or remove any of the older stuff from the tray. We couldn't be happier with the purchase of this dishwasher. It runs circles around the competition and you would never know it was on since its so quiet. I would totally recommend this dishwasher to anyone on the fence or trying to figure out the one they want. I was an Insider who tested this product. Excellent job Samsung!

1 Year and 1 Month after we purchased and paid 100s of dollars Samsung - Waterwall 24" Top Control Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher - Black stainless steel it does not longer work. How convenient, right!!?? I was expecting more from Samsung than this garbage and now no warranty to fix it. It is throwing the “LC” “Leakage Check” code when I know 110% percent that there is no leakage, I think the one thing that is leaking is my patients – soon it is going to be down to zero left. It would not even turn off if you press the OFF button, you have to completely unplug this garbage Samsung - Waterwall 24" Top Control Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher - Black stainless steel from the power to stop it from making the noise. I guess that’s all that I have – I spent 900 dollars on this thing and now it is useless. We called the Credit card company to see if there is an additional warranty, but again “Best Buy” visa card does not have that option, and yeah – took us 4 transfers and finally talking to someone in US to get that confirmed. All in all, we are very disappointed in Samsung - Waterwall 24" Top Control Tall Tub Built-In Dishwasher and the Best Buy customer service, plus we have to come up with more money to buy something decent that at least last more than one year. Sad..

Appearance - I really like the look of the outside of the dishwasher. The Samsung Waterfall is very sleek land the blue light illuminates it while it is running. The inside of the dishwasher is chrome but easy to clean. I was amazed at how quiet the dishwasher was while it was running. Performance - I was happy with the overall the performance of the dishwasher. I did not pre-rinse or pre-wash any dishes, utensils, or baking pans. All the dishes, utensils, and baking pans were clean and left with no food particles on them after being washed. I was impressed. Functionality - There are different compartments for different types of dishes and utensils to be placed in the dishwasher. The top and bottom racks adjust to accommodate dishes with different lengths and height. The top rack is also removable. The six-different dish washing cycles are sufficient for my needs. I like that there are measuring lines inside the dishwasher cup to measure the dish detergent to use the exact amount. I like that the door is heavy, so mild bumps will not cause damage to the dishwasher as my children walk or run past it while the door is open. Cons - I don’t like how the top dishwasher rack wiggles when placing dishes in it or sliding it in and out of the dishwasher. It appears as if it were going to break. Recommendation - Overall, I am very impressed with the functionality and performance of the Samsung Waterfall Dishwasher and would recommend it to friends and family.

We are on our second one of these....the first new unit had to be replaced as it was not draining after the wash cycle. This second unit is draining fine. The washer is pretty, I am, however, disappointed in a few things....at a higher price than one with 3 racks (which makes no sense) , it really doesn't hold the amount of dishes that our 20 year old Whirlpool dishwasher did, or what I imagine one with 3 racks would. (We could not get the 3 tier rack model as it was too tall for our cabinet space. Another issue I noticed right away was No space to stand up items like cookie sheets or smoker grates, which is something we wash regularly....now, I am doing them by hand. With the silverware bins on the bottom rack, you lose space for more dishes (our old washer had the silverware bin in the door). The racks are flimsier, and the 'adjustable' tines on the bottom don't always stay locked in place. As far as the washing/cleaning aspect of the unit, it does it's job. Just hope it lasts for 20 years! Overall would recommend for the cleaning job it does, but would certainly tell a friend about its weaknesses as there may be a unit out there that is better designed. We bought this in a bundle....so, no option to purchase another brand, and we LOVED the other 3 appliances by Samsung, so compromise had to be made somewhere.

I am very impressed with how quiet this dishwasher is, I have used many different dishwashers by many different manufacturers and the Samsung Waterwall is by far the quietest yet, being whisper quiet. Performance - I am also very happy with the performance of this dishwasher. I have placed a mixture of pots & pans along with other dishes including flatware in this guy and they all came out spotless & clean. Amazingly, I did not even prewash them. Now that was very impressive to my wife and myself. My previous dishwasher, prewashing was always a must. Appearance – it has a very modern style and is flush with countertop for a clean, and well-defined look. All the buttons are hidden away on top of the door and out of sight. Functionality - The dish racks are adjustable to accommodate a variety of items of different sizes, I love how the top rack can be raised, lowered or even completely removed if needed for more room from top to bottom. It has 6 washing modes which I think is more than enough for my needs. Cons – I only have one con, the top dish rack wiggles around a bit, I think it’s because it can be completely removed. However, the feels odds when it wiggles. Recommendation – I am happy with the Samsung Waterwall Dishwasher and would recommend it to anyone. It looks great and works even better.

When my dishwasher was delivered, there was minor surface rust on the door. Luckily I was able to clean it off. I installed the dishwasher myself since installation wasn't included. The installation instructions were very vague. Since I have quartz counter-tops, I had to screw the dishwasher into the cabinets on the side. The instructions do not tell you that you have to take the top mount brackets, cut them, and install them where you screw into the cabinets. I had to google it to find out. You will need to purchase a hose clamp to attach the discharge hose onto the garbage disposal. The install kit doesn't come with one either. Now for the review: The dishwasher is quite silent. It's not as quiet as I've read for other reviews where people said they had to open it to make sure it was running. You can definitely hear it running. It is quiet enough where it won't drown out a conversation or if you're watching television. It cleans dishes well. I just wish it had a soft food grinder. I bought a cheap $200 Whirlpool years ago and I was able to put dishes with food particles still on them with no problem. I like how the door cracks open to aid with drying. The jingle it plays when finished might get annoying after a while. I will google how to turn it off. Also, the salesperson claimed all Samsung appliances are made in South Korea. This is false. The dishwasher is built in Thailand.

Bought a Samsung kitchen package and just got my stuff delivered on February 23rd. Had install of dishwasher on the 24th. Ran for one cycle and right away a problem. Kept flashing LC error code, to wit I’ve now found out a number of people have complained about on here in reviews. I pride myself on doing in-depth research on products I buy, especially expensive ones. However, having never had any issues with Samsung products in the past, I trusted the name and didn’t bother doing my research. As it turns out, the LC code pops up when moisture/water is sensed in a bottom reservoir in the dishwasher. This piece of garbage couldn’t even make it to its second load before breaking down. This is a new low for product manufacturing. Now I’ll have to fight to get my money back, plus what I had to pay out of my pocket to have it installed. Like I said, stay away at all costs, and read other reviews. This thing has a huge design flaw and Samsung knows it, but they keep selling them regardless.

The dishwasher started to have issues after few weeks, since I bought it. It stopped in the middle of the cycle and had some water left. It happened 1-2 times per months but after 5 months started to happen every other time. I open the case in Samsung and here where you will come to the awful support. Bad support, bad service. Site where you have to create service request doesn't work, fine they do that for you. After 2 weeks their tech comes and detached the hose and put it to the pan and told to run it like that. When I run it it just run to my floor cause the pan they chose was small... Good that I didn't trust them and was close to it.. When I contact the the tech, they told well we come in a 2 weeks and will see what we can do next... Samsung just didn't new then they have open case, in their system it was completed... So case is open so far and would recommend don't buy anything from Samsung and maybe Best Buy if they working with such a bad company. Too sad I bought so much staff in Best buy but never do again...

This DW is rated at 42 Db and is very quiet - no need for lower noise rating - any less noise might cause you to think it's not working, or to open DW while in operation, inadvertently... Very sleek looking and flushing with cabinet & counter top for a clean, modern look. Manufacturer might want to design it with a (befitting) handle to prevent smudging the stainless steel door when closing after loading. The racks' dish-holding "spikes" and base takes a little bit of getting used to - could have been designed better to accommodate a variety of items of different sizes/shapes (eg. not every load has 18 same size/shape dishes, etc.) The top rack is a bit "wiggly" moving in and out. I like the touch controls feature on top edge of door, but the plastic is a bit cheap looking - plexi-glass would have been more fitting for this sleek style. Adequate wash modes (6), however takes longer than expected. Mode Heavy with Boost takes the longest 3:20 to complete - wonder why such long time...? Very helpful designs regarding installation and adjustments (eg. leveling, clips, mounting brackets, extra screw holes, etc.) I encountered a couple of issues, but Best Buy Customer Care (Iliana V.) provided such excellent service that made the purchase experience second to none. This service satisfaction helped make the Overall Rating 5 Stars *****.

First, the refrigerator "became unavailable" just before my installation date, so I had to reschedule. Then, I asked exactly what I needed to do to be ready for for the dishwasher installation. They said, "Just clean out the space under the sink." Installation day comes and the installer says, "You need a 3/8-inch compression fitting, and you don't have one." Well, THAT is why I specifically asked what I needed to be ready! I had to spend extra money to have a plumber come out for a rush job, and re-scheduled the dishwasher installation for the next day (meaning I had to miss another half-day of work). But the Best Buy operator told me that the guy who was coming tomorrow is not the one who was paid to do the haul away of the old unit, the first guy was paid dot do that ... so I needed to set up a THIRD appointment, and miss yet another half-day of work, just so someone could come to take the old one away. All told, I had to miss TWO full days of work to get an electric stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher delivered and installed. Unacceptable.

Prior to this upgrade, we had a horrendous LG model which not only didn't clean, but didn't dry. My parents had some bogus Sears home warranty -- which, to my understanding meant that you paid $75 to have them come look at your item, they fix it if they can, and if they can't they'll give you $500 towards a new one with Sears. Anyhow, it was a lame warranty, so twice we had them come and check out the dishwasher and bless their hearts they tried to fix it twice, but it didn't work. So we washed our hands clean of that one. Got this new one and holy cow! How good life can be when dishes are actually clean and dry! The dishwasher does open after the cycle to help drying. My only complaint is my -- ditzy (and I say that lovingly, of course!) -- mother manages to lock the control panel frequently, whether the dishwasher is too easy to lock ( you hold down one button for three seconds and it locks the control panel ) or she's just distracted is contestable. But it's such an easy fix. Love, love, love this powerful, quiet, new dishwasher! Plus the chime is so dang pleasing!

This machine looks very, very nice and there's a lot of nice reviews, which we read, before buying it. Unfortunately it has not worked properly since we bought it. It shuts off intermittently throughout the entire wash cycle. We're beginning to think we have a lemon. We had a Samsung tech out to our house and he replaced the processor. Also told us it was too close to one side of the cabinet and possible vibration was causing it to kick-off. (Really?) So we called a carpenter to shave off an entire side of our cabinet to make more room for the washer. The problem still exists! We have called Samsung again and they say they will send someone else out to look at our machine...again. So here we sit, having paid a lot of money for a machine that kicks off. At this point we would just as soon get rid of it. We bought this at BEST BUY because we figured they must do a lot of back ground checking for good products but we're just not there with Samsung Dishwashers. And we're stuck. Someone pls help us !
