The Samsung - Wi-Fi Smart Home Adapter (Laundry) is a time saver when doing laundry.

I bought the smart home adapter for my Samsung refrigerator. I was looking for a specific adapter for the refrigerator, but it turns out that there is only single Samsung adapter for appliances. I plugged it into my refrigerator, downloaded the app, and synced up the two. For some reason, there are two separate apps available and they both offer the same functionality. It works well, but offers limited control over what can be done. One can only monitor the temperature of the fridge and freezer; there is no way to change the said temperatures. The adjustments include turning the ice dispenser, power freeze and power cool on/off. That's about it. One interesting option is keep track of energy usage over the course of days/weeks/months. Overall, satisfied, but I wish there was a way to change the temperatures, especially, on the flex drawer.

After purchasing our new Samsung washer and dryer we discovered, via the owners manual, that we could use wifi to control both. We ordered the recommended adapter for both. As a computer tech I could see no reason for complications however there was, would connect then disconnect repeatedly. After a few days of attempting configuration I returned the adapters. Samsung needs to work this idea out better, great idea poor tech.

I had a little trouble installing this device; however, once installed, the device is working very well.

First, This should’ve been a built-in feature to the washer another add on. The connector disconnects from the app often. It barely integrates enough To be considered smart.

Product is not compatible with 5g wifi so unless it can be updated it is unusable

I’ve got both my washer and dryer connected to my WiFi now but I’m not sure how useful it will be. If I open the app after starting the machines I’ll start getting texts letting me know the status of the machines...if I don’t connect, there’s no messages. We bought the dongles so my wife would be alerted when the cycles are completed. If I can get her to use the app this goal would be accomplished. So we’ll see how useful the connectivity will be...

Must have for a Samsung washer or dryer. You can follow the status on your phone and get alerts.

This thing is really useful if you have the samsung smart washer/dryer but i was expecting more from the functionality of the washer/dryer

Hard to figure out at first. Works great now. Hopefully keeps working.

Doesn't seem to do much, but tell you when the wash is done and how many minutes let. A good start for what it is.

I only purchased because I was told repeatedly that i could start my washing machine from my phone when i was headed home. That is not the case. After 10 min the washer automatically powers off so this product had no way of communicating with your home network. This product is great for monitoring only

It's okay...we can't use it to start or stop the washer or dryer. We can only watch how long there is left of the cycle. It was a pretty wasteful purchase.

Great addition to the wifi washer. Tells you when the cycle is finished. Love it.

It is easy to set up but I seem to have connection issues often. I cant tell wether its due to my wifi connection or if it is the device/software itself. when it does connect it is awesome. I still recommend it because its better than not having it at all.

It's not really what I expected. You have to make sure you push the smart button on your machine every time. But, it is still nice to help keep track of the cycle.

I absolutely love this for my Samsung front load washer, saves me so many unecessary trips to the basement just to check if the machine is completed and it also lets you know if your machine is experiencing a problem.

While I really feel this product is far too expensive for what it does and should have been included with the washer/dryer at no additional costs, it does work as advertised.

This product interested me when I heard it was available. Now we can see how much time is left on the washer and dryer without having to go downstairs. What will they think of next!

You have to enable the Wifi every time you use you appliance - doesn't just stay on; shuts off with the self-power of the appliance. Remote notice that your close are done is the main reason to get this.
