The design of the charging pad is breathtaking in its simplicity. I have noticed that when compared to the included S6 Edge Fast Charger, the pad charges a bit slower, but you can't complain about the ease of use. You simply place your phone on it, and it goes to work. I have noticed that the pad seems to error somewhat frequently where the charging light flashes noting that it has paused charging unexpectedly. I'll simply remove the phone and place it back on to continue. Not sure what triggers this, I have read that the phone may not be placed centered enough, or may be running warm. It's annoying, but not enough so that it ruins the experience of the device.

Works greaet. I got this charger at best buy during a black friday sale for about the price listed here because it was when they first came out. The charger comes with a wall charger, then a usb to micro usb chord. I bought this device for my Galaxy Note 5 which comes with the wireless charging capabilities. If your phone does not then you can buy certain setups to make it work with a charger like this. Initially I was a little worried with people telling me that these things run hot and will kill your battery but im beginning to think thats if you go off brand. This charger runs cool and my battery still lasts just as long a year later. I charge my phone on this charger all day long. instead of setting my phone down on my desk I just set it here. There are some complaints about finding that sweet spot and having trouble getting it to charge and this is true with the larger phones like the note 5. you have to find that sweet spot but once you do, you can set it down without looking and get it to charge. My sweet spot is centering the charger about 2/3 the way up the galaxy notes 5s back. it works great for me and i have no issues. For my use, this works perfectly but I think if your phone fully charges, charger shuts off then does not turn back on which could cause you to wake up with an almost fully charged phone if you charge it over night. Overall this is a great charger for a great price, you just need to get used to it and find your sweet spot.

When I became aware of the wireless charging option I decided it was something to try. I learned of various third-party offerings but didn't want to potentially degrade the water/dust resistance or possibly void the warranty, so OEM seemed worth a little extra money. Also, saw mention in various reviews of problems associated with some of the third-party options out there. I ordered this and the Samsung Galaxy S5 Wireless Charging Battery Cover (CG900IBUSTA). Note - you MUST have either this back or some other charging back installed on the S5. The charging pad is plug and play - literally. Plug the charging block (included) into the wall and the USB cable (included) into the charging pad. This is the identical wall charger that comes with the phone - so you now have a spare - bonus! No other setup required - except for installing the charging back on the phone. Looks nice as you would expect for a factory Samsung accessory - an attractive desk accessory. Small footprint, only 3x3 inches. Charging works perfectly, dead simple. Using the Samsung system I have not encountered any heating problems I have seen mentioned by some, mainly non-OEM systems. Right off the charger my CPU temperature reads 93.5 and that's not hot. Right off the charger the phone back is only slightly warm to the touch, really no more so than if it had been on a charging cable. My impression is charging takes slightly longer (no empirical evidence to prove it) , but the convenience of not dealing with the port cover or cable more than makes up for it to me. Now whenever I'm not using the phone I just set it down on the charger and it stays charged. Answering calls or messages, I just pick it up without monkeying with a cable. Some have noted that the pad is small - I don't see this as a problem. I have had no problems with placing the phone on the pad. The indicator light on the pad glows green when the phone is properly placed for charging, and I have not found it to be finicky at all. Nothing but gravity holds the phone in place. This should not ordinarily be a problem. If you have cats or kids or other critters that might disturb the phone on its perch, be advised. Some have expressed dismay that it stops charging when the battery is full - well, good! Leaving a fully-charged battery on a charger is a bad idea. So overnight charging, in the morning my phone is at around 95%, and hasn't been charging a full battery all night. Pick up the phone to reset the charging cycle, put it back down for a few minutes and top it off. Tell me you don't pick up your phone first thing in the morning anyway! Not an issue to me, all chargers should be so smart. I have really come to like wireless charging, especially knowing my phone's environmental protection and warranty remain uncompromised.

While the charging is slower than using the plug and it can sometimes get bothersome if you constantly have to reach for the phone if you are getting a number of messages during charging, it is very easy to use and convenient to be able to walk in the house or office and simply set you phone down to charge. It works well through the slim case I also bought. Useful piece of great tech.

Most of the time, this charger did what it was supposed to do. I'd put my phone on it, wait for the light to go blue (telling me it was all good), stand around for a minute or two making sure nothing changed, and then leave the room or go to sleep. At that point, things were hit or miss. Sometimes I'd later get my phone and find the blue light blinking ("your phone is incorrectly positioned and isn't charging") or green ("your phone is fully charged") and see that the battery percentage was troublingly low. Whereas I can plug my phone into a USB cable overnight and it'll keep the charge topped-off, this device *sometimes* does that and oftentimes won't even get that far. Having to keep an eye on the device and constantly reposition it, lift it off to place it back on to charge it back up (from where the charge has dropped in the interim) and otherwise keep a watch on what's supposed to be a simpler solution than plugging in a cable really makes me question the utility of the inductive charger(s) if they all work like this.

Bought this for convenience with my Galaxy S6. It works through my lifeproof case, but I have to have it centered just right. Does not charge as fast as plugging the phone in, but good for an overnight charge. This also works with my Moto 360 watch and one of my Asus tablets that I modded to work with QI chargers. Nice to have the convenience of knowing things will stay charged if I just remember to lay them down in the right place.

It won't charge your phone as quickly as plugging it in, but it brings out the inner couch potato in me. When I'm half asleep and I get a notification, I don't feel like taking the time to check what my charging wire might be bumping into. It's much simpler to simply look for the little blue light that emanates from the pad and pick up my phone without any wires. For $50, you'd better be sure that you'll be happy paying to be lazy. If I had to rack my brain for a complaint, I'd say that it sometimes will not register that there is a phone on the pad unless it is somewhat centered. In other words, there are times when the phone will sit flat on the pad, but it is not centered enough to initiate charging.

I really like the sleek look, it's very nice and trendy looking it does charge like it is supposed to. It doesn't charge as fast as the charger I received with the phone. This one is perfect for the side of the bed when you don't feel like bending down to connect your phone just simply place on the charger and fall asleep but make sure the light turns on before you do.

You wouldn't think the convenience of not having to plug in your phone would be a big deal, but you definitely get used to just being able to place your phone down on the charger without having to line up the cord correctly with your phone and plug it in. Probably saves some wear and tear on the charging port. Not amazing, but if you need to pick up a second charger, it's definitely a fine choice. My biggest complaint is that when charging overnight, when your phone hits 100%, it stops charging until you pick the phone up and replace it. So unless you are in the habit of waking up in the middle of the night, you'll likely wake up with a partially drained battery (mine routinely is between 70-85%, depending on how full it was when I went to sleep). I can top it off in my car during my commute, but if you're counting on having a full battery when you wake up, you had better put your phone in Ultra-Power Saving Mode or turn it off, if this is your primary means of charging.

This charger is easy to use and has a sleek design as well. The only issue I have is that the charging time with this device takes a lot longer than compared to connecting the cable to the phone. For simplicity it does the job and without the worry of damaging the phone.

The charger looks sleek, and it's nice to be able to just sit the phone on it rather than plugging/ unplugging it from a charger. It charges quickly too. The only down side is that you have to make sure the phone sits on it just right or else it won't charge. It works with a thin phone case on the phone as well so that's also nice.

Having wireless charger on night table allows me to grab it anytime. Not having to fuss with wire, especially, in dark is convenient. Basic model is much slower, but if you'really charging while you sleep, there's no rush. You must ensure that you place it 'squarely' in position on the circular base, otherwise it won't charge.

I love this charger because it is so practical and easy to use. All you have to do is place your phone on it and voila !!!!!! This is not a fast charger. One of the reason I give it a 4 star. Also , you have to make sure that you place your phone precisely in the center, otherwise it will not charge.

I really like the wireless charger, it is small, it charges fast and does not get hot, the only negative is that you have to sometimes play with the position of your phone 3 or 4 times before it gets the signal to start charging. Once you have the signal it is all good.

The wireless charger is definitely an accessory that's nice to have. It's a lot slower than my fast charger for my Note but it's keeping the wear and tear to a minimum on my phones port plus having it on my night stand keeps me from fumbling around at night trying to plug it up. Overall, i love it. I do wish it charged faster, but, hey, you can't have everything. All I know is it's handy and I highly recommend it for those who plug their phones in a lot.

Works When You Position Phone Correctly!

Overall, this wireless charger is very convenient to use. You simply place your phone on top of this charger and it establishes a wireless connection and begins charging. The good thing is when the phone is completely charged, the charger stops charging your phone. The bad thing about this wireless charger is that it is very finicky about the placement of your phone to establish the wireless link. If the phone is not positioned just right on the charger the link will disconnect and the charger will flash. It took me a lot of positioning to find that "just right" spot on the charger...Having a case on your phone doesn't help with the placement either, as it tends to interfere with this finicky connection. Overall I'm happy with this charger.

First the advantages: It charges with a slow trickle charge. Which means it slowly charges to the max needed, but won't overcharge. It lights up a soft green glow at the base when device is fully charged. It's simple to set the phone on it when necessary. Now the negative: Really not much here other than, it's going to charge slower. Sometimes you definately want a quicker charge. But when fast charging, it's not good to leave it charging to "overcharge", which can degrade the battery over time. Bottom line, I don't use it all the time, but it's great to have and quite convenient.

I ordered 3 Samsung Wireless Chargers Online (2 White/1 Black) Black Friday. (Bought 3 because there are 5 of us using them.) Got a fantastic deal! Thanks BB! I received them today, 12/2/15. Ordering online and Shipping with BestBuy is fast and easy. Couple of things I especially like is that the cord is longer compared to the charger that came with my phone, extending its reach and the charger itself is compact so, it doesn't take up much space. I also appreciate that once your phone is charged the charger turns off so, it doesn't burn up the battery or waste power. The only things I've noticed is that the charge isn't as fast compared with the charger that came with my Galaxy S6 and I need to make sure my phone is sitting just right on the charger or it won't charge, this is probably because of my case (Otterbox Defender Series for Galaxy S6). As long as I keep a watchful eye and charge it overnight, I'm sure neither of these things will pose a problem for me. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase and my dealings with BestBuy.

Very nice design with a low profile. Charging is quick just make sure you have the phone placed on the pad correctly. I've made the mistake several times of placing the phone without waiting for the blue charging indicator and wake up to a dead phone. There are knockoffs online with a similar design but the build quality may not be as nice as this Samsung. It fits nicely on my nightstand and the blue charging indicator is a soft blue LED that doesn't blare at you in the middle of the night. One flaw is that once the phone teachers a full charge there is a cutoff and it won't auto charge if you leave the phone in place and the battery drains.. Very convenient if you tire of plugging your phone in. If nice to have options.

The wireless charger is a great idea, especially if you don't like to fool around with cords. It's nice in the morning when I want to play the radio without draining my battery. You do have to check it, though, to make sure it hasn't stopped charging. The charger seems to be sensitive to position, but even if you're not touching/moving the phone, it'll still stop charging for some reason. Also, the phone doesn't charge at the same rate as it does when it's plugged in - it's quite slower. However, I keep my wireless charger on the kitchen bar, so it's nice to walk in the house and just place your phone down to charge it, especially if you're one of those people who "forgets" to charge your phone before you go out.
