Prior to getting these speakers we found it often difficult to hear audio especially voices even with VOICE sound mode. Now, with these we can here so much better. This isnt 5.1 surround sound but for the price this was a great deal.

The receiver connected right off the bat so ease of use was/is great. The con is these speakers sound like crap.. Again it is nice to have extra speakers and they serve their purpose but for the money the sound just doesnt cut it.I might try a set of speakers from an old surround sound I have.

I have read some reviews where people complained of the lack of sound coming from them, I would suggest looking at the rear settings on your soundbar and tweaking them to your preference. When paired with a soundbar in the same purchase, it makes for a good deal.

For whatever reason, the volume only goes to 6, but it's more like a 2 (think 1-10, with 10 being the loudest) I really can't explain why I didn't heed the negative reviews. They're all spot on, and there really isn't anything else to add to them. Now the only thing left to do is wait for a Samsung rep to pop in here with something like, "sorry that you're having this experience!!!!!I Are you aware that these rear speakers are only meant to project ambient sound effects?" Yeah, I'm aware of that.....but I can't hear them....

In my case it was detected automatically, so I didn't have to manually pair it to my main soundbar.
