||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite claiming that this includes a pair of “wireless rear loudspeakers” right in the description, the speakers must be wired to the wireless receiver. The receiver is the only thing that’s wireless, and that is only if it is compatible with your sound bar. My sound bar, the Samsung HW-K460, was not listed as being compatible. Samsung’s website claims that compatible models change frequently, so I asked a Best Buy representative just in case. They checked with a Samsung rep who claimed these speakers work with the sound bar, and alas they do not pair. These are not wireless as deceptively advertised and there’s a good chance your sound bar won’t work with it, even if you’re told otherwise. Avoid buying these speakers.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung SWA-8500S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit. I am very sorry for any confusion about the wireless description.
Most consumers have trouble hiding and running speaker wires from the front of the room (where their soundbar is) to the back of their room (where they have their rear speakers). The SWA-8500S Kit eliminates that hassle. Connect the SWA-8500S rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. One wire is required to connect each rear speaker to the wireless module. Then plug in the power cable to the module. The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers – this can now be done via Wi-Fi through the wireless module, eliminating any clutter of long wires running the length of your room.

Linked up to the sound bar without a problem. The loudness is adjustable with the remote, mine sounds best at +3.
