When I first installed I watched a movie at night and was kill ire who is begging me, cause of the background surround. It does boost up a little in the volume. I installed on the corners of my wall, easy installation with speaker mount purchase.

Soundbar Great for the Price

We purchased the additional rear speakers. Since we didn't need a super high end set up this was perfect for the price and sounds better than we expected. Settings available for Sports, Movie, Clear Talk and Music.

Note: does have speaker wires from receiver to each of the speakers. Receiver needs power cord and connects to soundbar. No power cord needed for speakers.

They were very inexpensive when purchased with the sound bar. They’re not the best, but certainly help get that surround sound effect in a large room. I’d recommend

We love hearing doors closing and background sounds behind us when we watch movies. The speakers turn on and off with the tv and shows the volume level directly on the front of the sound bar.

I have the Samsung M450 in my bedroom, and these speakers really help to round out the soundscape in the room. I was surprised about how small they are, but they produce the perfect level of sound to create a fuller experience. What I notice most are subtle moments. Cranking the volume will emit most sound from the soundbar. But normal-volume listening experience is enhanced with these speakers best.

Easy enhancement

They don’t advertise compatibility with the N550 soundbar series from Samsung however for anyone wondering they ARE compatible. You’ll need to hold to mute button to pair the rear peripherals with the sound bar. They do come with a hole on the back for easy wall mount and the speaker wire they come with is probably close to 15 feet.

Decent Surround Sound

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Wireless Rear Loud Speakers. I am sorry to hear that you did not experience the full potential of the surround sound system.
Please know that by design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.
However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1. Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2. If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE.
3. Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holing the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
4. Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control.

Otherwise you likely will create a confusing mess that will only become worse. The instructions are brief and well written, but don't over estimate your abilities. The sound quality for the $$money is barely perceptible but is clear without any hissing or distraction, The SURROUND SOUND DOES IMPROVE THINGS.
