Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Wireless Rear Loud Speakers. I am sorry to hear that you did not experience the full potential of the surround sound system.
Please know that by design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.
However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1. Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2. If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE.
3. Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holing the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
4. Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control.

This was easy to set up! I also got the rear speakers (8000S) and they almost installed themselves! Love the deep rich sound!

They arrived quickly and were well packaged so there are no complaints there. However, the actual installation was less then easy. We had to watch several YouTube videos in order to get them to connect, and honestly even now it is a real hit or miss to get them to function correctly. Not a bad deal though as long as you have some patience.

There are wires that go from the box to each speaker. This works for me based on location and set up but could be an issue for a different room arrangement. Not true wireless. Sound is very good considering cost quality equation. Great every day systemwhen combined with 5.1 Samsung bar. Would have given a 4 star if true wireless.

Well worth the price and the background sound for movie or music. These connect wirelsy to your soundbar. Pairing can be be tricky you might need to do it a couple time when first setting up. Well worth the purchase.

But they're over rated and they don't worth $140 at all. They should sell at $90 maximum. I'm using these on 2.1 Samsung soundbar, so I can't really judge the surround sound accuracy, since you need higher channels, but so far so good on 2.1 channel.
