I took the home and had no problem connecting them and they are great.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung SWA-8500S Wireless Rear Loudspeaker Kit. Please know that once this kit is connected to a compatible Samsung soundbar, the soundbar remote is then used to control the volume level of the rear kit.
For example, if you are connected to the Samsung Harman Kardon HW-Q70R, you would press the Sound Control button on the Q70R remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range. Nice addition to Samsung sounds bar

They work well for shows recorded in surround sound but do not put out much volume for music that is not recorded in surround sound. The connection to the Samsung sound bar is wireless and works well. The receiving unit must be plugged in for power, but the speakers receive their power from the speaker wire run from the receiving unit. This eliminates the need to plug in the speakers for power. They are small and can be mounted to speaker stands or speaker attachments that are mounted on a wall. These speakers along with the Samsung sound bar can be controlled with the Samsung tv remote. This allows complete control of the system with a single remote. Nice!

They help to surround you with the sound so you have more of a feeling of being in a theater space. These are paired with my sound bar.

They do connect with wires but it’s still nice to place them 5’ or so away from the soundbar to add to the “surround” sound affect. They don’t stick out, but add another dimension to the overall sound.

If you want a complete surround sound experience without alot of money, I would highly recommend getting this speakers. The paired together very easily to the soundbar and the sound is great.

The one exception is that nowhere are instructions how to adjust the rear speaker volume, I figured it out, but should be explained in manual that comes with rear speakers. Not explained in soundbar manual either.
