The directions were not correct to link them to my soundbar. But easily looked up the directions for my soundbar to link the speakers. Not as long as I would have liked. But I also have in the past blown 3 subs in my car. I enjoy loud crisp sounding. But overall they are good when used with a surround sound audio/video

Glad I did. The sound is great overall. I listened to them in the store display and loved them more.

My last two setups were both Samsung Blu-Ray players with 5.1 Surround Sound. Maybe I was expecting the same quality of sound when I'm adding like 2, barely 4", small speakers for background noise. I have several speakers I could use instead but I'd have to cut and splice wires since the Samsung receivers only take a certain plug instead of just a positive line and a negative. For now I'm gonna leave it. After some tweaking, I finally was able to hear the Surround Sound a lot better. My opinion is that you are mostly paying for the Wireless receiver. Then they give you 2 cheap speakers to connect to it through a wire. So the item isn't quite what you think it is. You get a small receiver to put near a power outlet, but then you gotta wire up your speakers meaning you'll have wires involved.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.very easy to pair and they do provide surround sound, but I've found that unless the speakers are fairly close to you, you really don't hear them and get the effect; so if you plan to have these mounted or placed so that they are close to ear level, then great, otherwise, don't expect that full surround sound effect.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Wireless Rear Loud Speakers. I am sorry to hear that you did not experience the full potential of the surround sound system.
Please know that by design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.
However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1. Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2. If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE.
3. Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holing the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
4. Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control.
