Must have with soundbar

It completes the sound that the Samsung soundbar is lacking. Quick, easy, link up. You just have to hide the wire from the hub to each speaker. It does complete the sound. You can control the volume through the soundbar because it can overwhelm the vocals with the surround ambient sounds.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Wireless Rear Loud Speakers. I am sorry to hear that you are not completely happy with volume level.
Once this kit is connected to a compatible Samsung soundbar, the soundbar remote is then used to control the volume level of the rear kit. On the soundbar remote, press the Sound Control button (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.
Also, please know that by design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.
However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1) Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2) If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE.
3) Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holing the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
4) Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control.

They paired fairly easily, and the sound works well. I haven't had any problems with the pairing so far. It might be worth noting that the sound isn't that loud from the rear speakers unless you are watching a program with true surround sound. I would like for them to be louder with 2 channel viewing/listening, just as added sound.

The kit allows you to wirelessly connect a set of rear speakers. While it states wireless, it still requires you to run wires to a module. No wires are required to be run to the tv or soundbar. I easily hid the wires behind my couch. Previous reviews state that they couldn't turn up the rear speaker volume, but you can. Rear speakers are not meant to be super loud. They are utilized more for lower sounds. I would recommend them to anyone that has a medium or smaller sized living room. I paired this with my Samsung KS8000. I also liked that I can just utilize my Samsung tv remote to turn both on at the same time and change volume (must be set to ARC)

Tiny speakers, Tiny Sounds

(Check out the dimensions) Even when sound level is adjusted via the soundboard remote to the maximum level, you have to be fairly close to these 'rear' speakers to hear them. So, "surround sound' is not a term that I feel really describes these speakers. Wireless..? Well partially. The soundboard provides a wireless signal to the speaker kit receiver. So you can set the receiver across the room with no wires from the sound board (You will need the AC power cord for the receiver). Each speaker has twin-wires that plug into the receiver. Overall, I feel the price of this product far exceeds its performance or value.
