A fun game which has great graphics, sometimes difficult.

This game brings back memories of arcade fighting games, yet they took the concept and made a fresh experience out of it. Fighting is fluid. Not your typical combo mash game, but more like footsies. Really fun game :)

Old school game with modern graphics and great fighting gameplay.I felt in love with it as soon as i popped the cd in my system Tons of fun with each character having their own storyline,great replaying value.

Samurai Showdown is not your standard fare 2D fighter. Every action in this game carries a much larger consequence than most games of this type. It doesn't have crazy high ranging combos but instead focuses on precise attacks and counters. Although this game seems simple at first, there is a very deep system in place that provides every action with a way to counter or dodge an attack; it's the fighting game version of chess. The action is fluid and gorgeously animated. The fighters are quite varied and provide something for every type of player out there. Overall this is an outstanding reboot of a 2D fighter classic. If you liked the game before, you will love this version.

For those of you who love the samurai shodown genre you won't be disappointed with this remake the graphics and gameplay are fantastic pick it up today you'll be glad you did

Samurai Shodown is the long requested revival of one of SNK's best fighting games. The gameplay is a bit slower but more more strategic than SFV, also a lot better.

This game brings back memories when I used to spend all my money at arcades playing neogeo games. I especially love playing with earthquake, hes my fav character.

This is one of the best fighting games ever made. It's simple to play hard to master, if you're are new to this franchise. Let me just say you won't regret it.

It's really hard to beat a classic such as this with upgraded graphics. It is the game you played as a child but revamped for 2019. Highly recommend.

This new game has my son very entertained.. I’m not a gamer but it looks interested .. I think it seems violent but it’s just a game !

This plays great. The graphics are next to none in my opinion . the controls and very well done. They are adding on as time goes on .

I pick this up cuz i seen game play and it look like the older versions for snes and genesis so i pick up its not fighting game it not a game u can get away with button mashing if your will to leanr the mechanics of the game its a amazing game

Samurai Showdown played this game back in the 90s on arcade now I am playing it in PS4 so great feeling great game from SNK

On the LG OLED this game looks amazing! Gameplay is addicting and this is a different style fighter. Very good!

SS never misses. One of the hottest fighters I've ever played. Definitely pick it up if you can.

Great fighter. Slow and deliberate. Mash buttons and you will get punished. Hope Gen-An is added as dlc.
