As a result I had to return it subsequently because it did not accomplish what I purchased it for. The file transfer capabilities are not the same as on the iPad Pro 4th and 6th gens, which easily allow one to connect and transfer files to a USB C flash drive and even an SSD if you use a SSD enclosure that supoports USB C.
