Good Drive—slow iPhone to drive transfer

It does seem to take a long time to transfer photos from my iPhone to the drive. So I don’t use that feature; but since having that feature didn’t cost any more than other drives with the same 2 connectors—lightning and USB-C—I’m not too disappointed at the slow iPhone to drive transfer speed. It is great as a portable backup drive.

I needed to free up some space and the SanDisk copied Live Photos as well as regular photos and contacts easily. I recommend SanDisk to anyone trying to free up some space or backup their files from an IOS device.

It has stop uploading things now, and it won’t tell you it can’t until you’ve chosen what you want, highlighted it in the app and then started the process. I don’t know what got saved on it and what has not, because it craps out halfway through, which makes me feel I wasted time trying. I bought a real external hard drive. This was a bandaid fix anyway. For small jobs, it will do. The ease of having lightning to usbc is awesome. My need was more than this can handle, but it got me past the point of stuck-I was 7nable o take photos on my iPhone. It allowed me to create room without losing pictures.

Now that apple has ruined the interface with itunes and back up to your own computer. Rather than push all your stuff to their icloud. Nice size to keep all your needed memory's safe so you can transfer to your computer and or to print them out as needed. This is/was way overpriced to begin with so I waited until Bestbuy had them on sale during their best deals of the day promotion. and free 2 day shipping. Thanks Bestbuy

App does not work on ipad pro but works through files ios app BUT you cannot see private storage. Drive works perfect on pc but on mac it barely works. I mostly use it for fule transfer throughout my devices or for schooland works andpersonal foles.
