This is a small, beautiful device that gives you plenty of storage.

When I ordered this there were some mixed reviews with this new (as of July 2023) version working on macs. I figured Sandisk is a big brand, and Best Buy will let me return anyway, so what’s the risk? It’s been fine on my Mac as a Time Machine target and for data storage. I’ve used it a lot in the month or so since I bought it and have zero complaints with the drive. The only minor complaint that I have is that it only has an old style USB-A cord. Seems like it would have only cost Sandisk a few cents to include a short USB-C to USB-C cable, and a lot of people only have long cords which get in the way with such a tiny drive. That’s all I could find wrong, it’s a great little drive and very good value for the money. I will buy this one again when I need another one.

This SanDisk drive is the best value, highest quality portable storage device made in 2024. The sequential read performance (800 MB/sec). USB 3.2 (Gen 2), and 3-year warranty are unmatched. Don’t bother trying to find a better deal then this anytime soon!

Amazing quality and it is worth its price , it is the best choice for backing up your things since it is small in size but yet you can upload on it many things so you can safely take it with you any where , I highly recommend it

This was a lot smaller than i thought. It is very easy to use. Just plug and play. Easy to bring with you. It can fit in your bag or even in your pocket. Its quiet, fast and the 2 tb option gives you pleanty of room for all your things.

Very compact. Fast and reliable. SanDisk has always been a favorite of mine. This small portable SSD drive is no exception. I am using it as a back up drive as well as a storage drive for my PC/XBox games.

It is slim, light weight, easy to carry and does what you want it to do. What else is there to say?

Overall, an excellent value external ssd! Plug and play and fast speeds! Used it as large capacity "thumb drive". Literally stuck it to the lid of my laptop with a command strip and wired all day. Capacity is more than enough for my needs and I love the fact it doesn't need external power like my current HDD back up drives!

I keep a handful of these around to back up on a regular basis my personal files (including correspondence) that matters (for example, budgets, billings, medical information, etc). With a need to keep things both in a format that still includes printed materiel plus the digital files (in case something happens), it's a good idea to get the new SSD Drives in a large enough size to be able to keep the files in a stable form (I've verified always that the files are what they should be). It's quiet, easy to connect to your laptop/2-in-1/desktop, easy to transfer the files (and quick too), and it's easy to verify the file sizes/types as well. So far, so good. No problems with any files failing (this includes backing up my security system video files).

Nice portable drive that I use for backups. I do wish it had the USB-C to USB-C cable with the C/A adapter like the one I purchased years ago for work. This one comes with USB-A to USB-C cable. And a word of advice if you purchase your own USB-c to USB-C cable. Make sure it's rated for high speed data transfer; some cables are more intended to be used as charging cables. I shopped around on-line and Best Buy had the best price.

I like that it is a third of the size of the old external HD. Light weight and can easily fit into you pants pocket minus the cord

The folks at Geek Squad in Attleboro are the best. They helped me find the back up I was looking for and used the drive fir a complete re-image for Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrade.

Much easier to use than an external hard drive and so much smaller!

Great SSD flash drive. I only wish the included cable was USB-C to USB-C. If your device has a USB-C port you will either need an adapter or a different cable.
