Brought it home expecting it to work like every other sandisk memory card i own and it was an absolute dud. Will be returned.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nintendo Switch reads/writes @ up to 100/90 Mbps. Any SD over 100 Mbps, may be unnecessary. Switch is also only compatible with UHS-I. But you’ll notice it says in description “UHS speed class U3.” U3 is an attribute of UHS-I, so as long you have UHS-I and not UHS-II or UHS-III, the U3 is fine. I also noticed that it doesn’t clarify on the product itself whether it is a class 10 (Which is the best way to go). However, if you look in the description it does clarify that it is a Class 10. I believe this product is so pricey (though on sale currently) due to the brand name. I was torn between this and the Samsung EVO 512 GB. There is an article(s) out there that discusses how the fastest speeds may be achieved with a game stored directly on the Switch. The Class 10, U3, SD cards are all comparable to each other, but you can Google which one may produce fastest speeds. The slowest speeds are allegedly manifested running off a game cartridge.
