I love the Sansa Clip series of MP3 players. They are small, light, easy-to-use, and have a price point that's low enough that if I lose one, it's not the end of the world. They are great for working out or listening to e-books or music on public transit. I love the fact that this model lets me use a micro-SD card and also lets me navigate by folder and filename.

I purchased the clip jam to replace my Samsung mp3 that finally quit on me after many years of use. I was very surprised at the great sound and how easy was to load music to. The built in FM radio works great with good reception and the battery has plenty of power. It has all the things I was looking for and more.

Use this to listen to music during travel. It's compact and can hold plenty of songs. Simple to use: uploading and play. Good battery life.

8gb of built in memory will hold a ton of music, I probably have 100 songs on it and have plenty of space. Sound is good, it is easy to use. The battery life is good. The only thing I do not like about it is even when I turn shuffle off, it still shuffles the music, I would like to be able to hear the music in a specific order.

If you're looking for a small, lightweight MP3 player that you can clip to clothing, this is a great choice. OLED screen is easy to see even in sunlight. Adequate battery life.

I wanted something to carry my music with on long outings with the dog, biking, search for photo ops or any combination of these. (Maybe even long drives in the country where radio stations are less than appealing) My files consist of both vinyl and CD rips and I expect some volume level differences and this is supposed to have a feature that helps balance the level from one tune to another but does not seem to work. The output even on the ear buds needs to be at least 1/2 volume on the stronger tunes and over 3/4 on others. Now ear buds do not work for me, they do not stay in and I have a couple different portable speakers or small headphones I use depending on the mode of travel. When the speakers are used the output from the Scan Disc struggles even more and has to be pushed to the point it starts clipping the signal which really takes makes the music less enjoyable. Even when plugged into the car sound system I have to turn the volume up way over where it would normally be. My second gripe is more with Scan Disc's decision to make you choose between blue tooth and expandable memory. I have a large number of files and felt like I needed to be able to add a micro SD card more that having the option of using blue tooth. Now I would gladly pay more for 1 unit that does both, the technology is there people. BTW - it could be a little bit larger with a better clip, it seems to manage to pop loose of whatever I try to clip it to because it is so light and you have to use some kind of mini cable to connect to a listening device. Maybe you are not supposed to move around when it's in use...? I am clicking that I will recommend it, but be aware of it's limitations. I own many SD memory cards and USB drives and never had a problem with those.

I bought this for my 6 year old. It’s small but that clip was the best part. I’ll admit we lost it a few times but it was sturdy. I recommended it. It was easy to upload songs and held allot.

This MP3 player is easy to use. I listen to music, podcasts, audio books and radio using this player. It does not have Bluetooth included so be aware of that. It plays for many hours on one charge. There is a music sync function but it's easy to drag and drop music files to the player as though it's just another folder. I have purchased quite a few Sandisk players and have given some of them as gifts.

I love my MP3 player! It's small, light weight, holds a lot of songs and lasts hours on a charge.

This is a great little player. I had an old SanDisk player that finally quit working after 10 years. I was hunting a replacement to use when doing yard work, working out, and various other things. This fit the build perfectly. I am able to have my playlists and recorded music to listen to whenever I want in addition to the FM radio !! It is small enough to clip on a cap or belt and be out of the way. It holds a charge for a long time, and recharges very quickly. The instructions that come with it are a bit lacking, but it is easy enough to follow the screens and figure out how to use it. It is a great value for the price and hopefully will last a long time.

So I was in the market for a new MP3 player and didn't feel the need to spend $300 on an iPod. All I want to do is listen to music and didn't need all the extra bells and whistles. I was using my phone for a while but it has limited space and no way micro SD slot. I did some research and thought about getting the more expensive SanDisk MP3 player, the one with Bluetooth, but that one only held a max of 16GB w/no micro SD slot. This one hold 8GB out of the box and has a micro SD slot. It also has a built in FM tuner so I can listen to the radio if I want. The battery life on the device is phenomenal, 18 hours on a single charge makes sure that long days at work are filled with plenty of tunes. The only down side to the device is that it feel like it could break easily if you bumped into something or sat on it. But with its clip-on design and small footprint you can place it anywhere you like to ensure that you keep it safe.

This MP3 Player is a great value for the money. It is easy to use, has good sound quality, and is so tiny and lightweight. I use it while running. Much easier than taking my iPhone with me.

Light weight and with me on my walks and runs. Easy to navigate. The 8GB is plenty for my music. I had an old model I loved but the battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore. This does great.

It is a compact MP3 player. I purchased it because it allows for wired earbuds. I do not like wireless earbuds. Pros: compact, holds lots of songs, easily charges, and when sound is adjusted to bass, it is great. Cons: when inserted, the wire to the earbuds does not consistently stay in the device. After running some distance, the wire loosens, which disrupts the music. I have to frequently adjust the wire to ensure that it is plugged into the device. This occurs whether I'm using the earbuds included in the package or using my pair that loop over the ear. I think this a design flaw that hopefully they will correct.

Everything terrific! No problems! Super responsive and the sound is much better than on ipod that I just gave away. Easy to load and unload songs unlike the ipod! I use it for the gym. It's small, light and easy to use!

This player is small enough to comfortably clip on clothing or to place in a pocket. I find these easier to use than Apple products since it's not necessary to deal with iTunes. Just copy music from computer to the player as though it's any other flash drive or external drive. Great extended playtime and charges quickly.

I have stopped using this item as now I just stream music. I do miss being able to select the song I want to hear. Finally writing a review. The player held a charge pretty well, provided good sound, easy to navigate. A nice budget alternative if you insist on playing your MP3 collection and don't want to lug your phone around in the gym.

I have been buying this model for several years. It is simple and easy to use, can sideload from computer. I mainly download audio books from library. Sound is good, controls easy to use. Can also copy your own cds. Small enough to carry anywhere, and am not running down my phone battery. Fairly good radio reception too. Not sure how they long they last, probably one to 3 years. Still have a working 2gb model from much longer ago, earlier design. Hope they continue making it.

I needed a small mp3 that wasn't bluetooth for work. This is perfect. I can fit a lot of music on it. It's easy to use. The sound is very good.

I bought this to replace an old one we had. This one is smaller, lighter and more intuitive. It also has a battery that lasts several times longer. I'd recommend it to anyone
