Sound quality great. Difficult to figure out system of controls. Library seems to be organized around "songs" and not open to a hierarchy of material, for example "Spanish lessons," "movie Scores," and other categories with sub-categories. My old Zune was great on this matter.

Mp3 player works well. Clip is a bad design and breaks easy

The reality is - the options are pretty limited with MP3. The pros are the size, display is nice and memory is more than enough. The major negative is that it is a pain to try to set up playlists / genres and having to work with MSFT tools. More of an exercise than what I wanted.

I have always liked these. When I moved to a Chromebook there were some connectivity issues. This player solved that issue, and is slightly smaller too.

So far, it is doing well. Wish it was blue tooth but it's okay.

I love this item for its size and quality. Fits perfectly out of sight. Perfect to use with working out and listening to podcasts and online library!

Wish that I could have purchased an old ipod instead!

Well, I bought one and totally loved it right up until the day it died 27 days later. It won't turn on even after charging. I wasted big bucks for a piece of junk. No returns after 16 days. Oh, well. Can you say AMAZON.COM! I have too many other purchases (TV, Computer, window A/C and vacuum cleaner to tell Best Buy to cancel my credit card. Live and learn. You shouldn't have to buy an extended warranty and the blasted purchase should last over 30 days. Purchased on May 25, 2020. D.O.A. on June 20, 2020.

Kids really loved the Mp3 player , They listen to it every day

I have not been able to download any books. It does not come with instructions and it took 3 days to get from the manufacturer

not bad overall, but trying to setup playlists is hard and not explained very well. maybe just me but time will tell.

Before I give my review, I would like to say I have programmed many websites, taught myself at least 5 computer programming languages all the way back to MS-DOS and GW-Basic. I have built computers from scratch and used all types of computer technology. All this to say, I am not computer ignorant. This MP3 player is one of the worst pieces of technology I have ever bought or tried to use. Unfortunately, I do not not live near a Best Buy, so it takes a while to drive out of my way to get to one. Returning this to Best Buy is not a "time-easy" process. Before I bought this, I had looked on Best Buy's website for different bluetooth MP3 players, so I was shocked and disappointed to find out this model, which I thought was the same as the one I looked at on Best Buy's website, did NOT have bluetooth. It was the same price as the MP3 players of this kind that have bluetooth. When I pulled the Player out of the box, I was shocked and disappointed to see how tiny it was. With my big fingers, it's very difficult to press tiny buttons, and the screen is too small to see without glasses. I was expecting an MP3 player approximately the size of an IPod based on the photos on the website. There were no directions in the box on how to add music, add playlists, edit, rename or delete playlists. The only directions in the box were describing the functions of the exterior buttons. I looked on a multitude of websites including Sandisk's website and watched YouTube videos for doing these things for playlists, and none of them worked. I tried copying and renaming the existing PL files on the player, and that didn't work. I tried making M3U files and placing them in the Music folder on the player. The M3U files would show up under the Playlists option on the Player, but then when I would go to song to add it to a Playlist, and the Playlists I made would not show up; the only playlists that would show up were the 3 generic playlists that came with the Player. I also tried placing an M3U file in the Music folder and placing the names of the songs in the Music folder like the directions showed on Sandisk's website, and no songs show up when I clicked on the that Playlist in the Player. I couldn't find a way to rename the generic playlists that came with the Player. I tried using Windows Media Player to synchronize songs on the Player, and all this did was make Folders for all the Album names on the Player, then put the songs into the folders, but no playlists showed up on the player. The only thing I was able to do was take one website's advice to make folders under the Music folder, name each folder the same as a "Playlist", put songs in them, then pull up the Folders option (not the Music) on the Player to play songs in a "playlist". All this was extremely irritating and frustrating to try and get this Player to work.
