I love how this device can be used as an extension of your smartphone if you need more memory. Pretty handy in that respect. I found issues where I am streaming movies from the flash drive but get constant disconnections about every 20 minutes or so. Not happy with always going in there having to reconnect and continue streaming.

Awesome product no need to fight over what you watch give the kid the tablet and you wife the laptop. You use the drive and smartphone. Life is good

Didn't think this would work as well as it does! I have used it several times now with a few different devices accessing it.

I primarily purchased this product for streaming video while on the go. It has multiple simultaneous stream capacity (different files to different devices at the same time) and I've never experienced any buffering issues. The stated memory is actually an embedded micro SD card which can be replaced with a higher capacity one. You connect to the device via WiFi, either by using the devices assigned ip address (through your browser of choice) or the Android/iOS app. By default this disconnects you from accessing internet however, the settings menu allows you to assign a preferred pass through network so you can maintain your connection to the internet while accessing files on the drive. You also have the option to assign a password to the devices built in network, it's open by default. The menu also allows you to designate a custom auto shut off after a certain period of inactivity to save battery. The unit will still broadcast/stream while charging. Not to mention the fact it also functions as a standard usb flash drive.

I already have an iPad air 2 16 GB and nexus 5 ,this wireless USB can be used as an additional storage for both my devices

Laptops, iPads, phones, desktops all connected with ease, settings are really easy, can be open or pw protected. Stream HD video, download PDFs, etc. to all devices! I am more interested in trying different file types. I got a 10,000+ .csv onto my iPad. Not USB 3.0, but it still moves fast.

Would have gave it 5 stars but the software for android devices keeps crashing causing the drive to stop responding

Best Buy Employee recommended this neat little thumb drive. I use my IPAD as my primary source for work, family photos, communication and research etc. I needed to be able to down load from a flash drive USB port and IPAD does not have this port. This device allows me to share photos, and work information from all sources to my ipad. Can logon to email, and other networks to share info, share photos. SO EASY !

This product works great for my IPAD and MACBOOK AIR. I have put music and video and both work just great !!!

Works as advertised. Great was to transfer files without hooking the ipad to a desktop or laptop. Also great way to carry extra files, music, etc, without burning ipad storage. No internet connection needed best part.

Great for making more space on my iPad. You can also get more GB by purchasing a new card to install.

Ran out of space on my hard drive and didn't want to invest in an external hard drive. This was a wonderful alternative.

My iPhone found it right away. The drive comes with example files on it to make for easy testing out of the box.

I'm a busy teacher. I use this device to help me transfer files to and from my iPad & iPhone.

Work as spec. and easy setup, good deal when on sale.

This is a very handy device for transferring files between my devices without having to have multiple cables.
