To start with, I really do like Sandisk. I have never had problems with their memory cards and tend to trust them more than others (I know others have been let down, but you see that with any manufacturer). I was entirely unimpressed with this Connect product and the accompanying software. Compatibility with various video file formats was not too bad, but for no apparent reason after a firmware update, it could not find any pictures on an SD card no matter what folder they were in. If I loaded them on the device's internal memory, the same file worked just fine. Video files would play fine from the SD card, just not pictures. Maybe there was a fix, but I could not find one at the time. I'll still give it 2 stars, it did function to some degree. I liked that it accepts full size SD cards, I liked the size and weight, never had problems with the wifi, software was decent (iDevice version). Ended up returning it. Bought a similar HooToo device off an online retailer and though it has it's own problems (microSD only, software is even more funky), it is a 4 star product versus this one I would rate 2. Maybe it was just my device or the software and I see that there are new SanDisk Connect devices (apparently with only onboard memory, so SD slot-BOO!), so clearly someone is buying and enjoying these devices, it just didn't work out for me.

Thus is a great way to keep using your 16gb iphone. Don't need to upgrade. - difficult to set up properly and wifi through access seems sketchy. Would buy again

Love the ability to stream videos from this device. Really helps out on storage space of my portable devices. The iPhone app is easy to use also. I would def buy another one!

this is great to store movies on and stream especially when you don't want to take up too much space on your device.

does not have a thumbdrive port and hard to connect on windows pc, the media drive app does not work properly on blackberry playbook tablet.app wifi cannot connect even if network is connected

I bought this at the begining of the summer to store movies on while i traveled so my family could access them while we traveled. It worked very well and was able to have several ipads streaming from it simultaneously.

I bought this device and it is everything I expected and more!! Easy to use, fast, clear, and absolutely wonderful

This is a nice little device for extra storage of your data but one big down side is no way to plug the device into another besides your PC ...so no streaming of video

My mother has an iPhone that she filled up with pictures and videos, I got her this to be the solutions since you can't expand it. The wireless aspect of it is awesome since its so easy to do when you're near it. The only way it could be better is if you could save to it from anywhere.

Easy to use. Just a pain switching the wifi to transfer info.

This product wasn't available at my local store but the young man that assisted me was excellent. I'm so glad I didn't purchase something else more convenient because this little device is incredible. I took it on a recent trip to Costa Rica and it performed beyond my expectations. I was able to watch movies on my iPad without a wifi connection. This little baby has its own wifi. If you're going to use this device with a tablet I would recommend that you use a video transcoder like handbrake (or whatever your preference) so that you can convert movies to a platform that can be viewed on your tablet. Other than that get this product.

I planned to use the media drive to upload photos and songs from my I phone and I pad.

I was so frustrated when I bought this for an upcoming trip only to discover it was not compatible with ios8. This has been remedied and I am looking foward to using it this holiday season especially

Great wireless storage for mobile devices. I like the extra space this givesme while on vacation. Can hold movies for long trip.

Doesn't hook to usb on TV so don't think it id worth it

I bought this because I have a 16gb iPhone and I needed more storage when I was traveling. It was easy to use and a great product.

I began using the Connect 32 and was fairly pleased with it. However in less than 2 weeks, I attempted to upgrade with the latest software. It died, not to be revived. Now I have a small brick.

This device is truly usefull ! I'm totally recommend to buy it
