It has more storage than need, but was on sale so the bargain was good. I have the original Disc for my WIN 7, but it has old drivers and would not boot on my new 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 SSD. I have to have a new version which I can download from Microsoft, (ISO boot copy), with my original activation code. I like WIN 7 Home 64 Bit for my gaming, so I wil do a dual boot with WIN 10 Pro 64 Bit for the newer games which run better on it. I also need for video editing from my GoPro 6 cams on my YouTube channel.

Great for storing music

Because of its compactness it can be transported easily from home to car. Because of this convenience one does not have to carry CDs. These USB flash drives will eventually replace all CDs. The retractable connector on the Sandisk is a great convenience.

I have started to use Solid State Drives that are portable because they are much faster and hold more data. I like the SSD devices because they provide both a C connector as well as a standard USB connection. SO I can easily move data between my different computers.
