Very fast with a USB 2/3-capable computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Used it to transfer some content from a 6 year old computer, running Windows 10 and, presumably USB 1.x, to a new one with USB 3 ports. I didn't really time it exactly, but it seemed like it took 20-30 minutes to unload the content from the old computer and probably about 5 to transfer it to the new one. Also, I've always liked the retractable plug on these models.

Files were not large so transfer speed was not an issue for me (slow speeds could be a potential issue with this drive). I also like the fact that it is compact, with a retractable connector to keep data safe.
