Good USB Drive

Encryption Software Locks-up

I don't know, this is my first Sandisk Thumb drive...I tried to connect it to my computer, about 5 times...Every time, it seems, It would start to load the encryption software and go so far and then lock-up...then it wouldn't do anything...so, I would eject it from the computer and start over...every time, it seems like, it would go a little farther in setting up the encryption process...finally, I got as far as selecting which files that I wanted to save to the Scandisk...and, it seemed like it was going to work, but, then it locked-up again...so, I did a right-click on my mouse and it brought up the menu screen...one of the selections were to re-format...so, I thought that maybe it needed re-formatting...so, I clicked it...well, needless to say, it re-formatted the whole thumb drive...erasing everything, including the encryption software...but, now, at least, I can use it as a regular thumb drive...and that works perfect...I just lost the encryption feature...
