Great for Studio Work

I bought the Sandisk Extreme 32 GB CF card at Best Buy because it was the only CF card available. Must of my CF cards are a slower speed because I usually do portrait work. But I went ahead and got the 120mb/sec because I was going to shoot a racquetball tournament for a friend. It couldn't process fast enough, so I did have a few files that were darker on one side.
For the speed of the card, I wouldn't buy it again for $50. But as for the capacity, I feel the price is fair. But normally, I don't buy cards with this large of a capacity, because I worry about losing it or have it corrupted and losing all of the images.
Good card, but not for fast shooting.

If you like to take a lot of pictures and use an older camera, it can be hard to find a replacement disk when your 1 or 2 G fills up. Best Buy to the rescue. I searched everywhere before finding this at a Best Buy. 32 G's - high quality pix, reasonable price. Shouldn't have to look for another anytime soon!

I love that I may never have to change cards in the middle of shooting a wedding or sporting event again! I haven't cleared the card yet from about 8-9 family shoots, and the camera still shows '999' images remaining. I imagine someone shooting in raw would benefit greatly from the super fast and high capacity card!

Another Great Card by SanDisk

I just finished a review of a SanDisk Extreme Pro 64GB SDXC UHS-1 card, & this SanDisk Extreme 32GB Compact Flash card performed just as flawlessly in my Canon 7D Mk II for thousands of photos while on an extended road trip, that I called our Great American Road Trip. 5,500 miles & shooting photos all the way. Raw, on the CF card & JPGs on the SD, a great combination.
Not only do these cards keep up with the fast shooting capability of the 7D Mk II, they also upload really fast when used with a USB 3 card reader. A major concern when you are trying to upload a lot of large photo files.
I bought these cards while on the road, just to be sure to have enough capacity. To give you some idea of the capacity of these cards, I did in fact use more than one 32GB CF card because of the size of the Raw files, & they were "only" 32GB, I didn't even use 1/2 of the 64GB SD card. I later learned that I had managed to buy both of these cards at a really good price. While I use SanDisk cards exclusively, this made them a win-win that's hard to beat.

Big Card, Lots of Photos

I've been a photographer for over 25 years now. I joined the digital photographic world back in 2003. I have always trusted SanDisk to capture and store my images from day one. I have never had one of their cards fail me. I still have the first one I bought back in 03, a whopping 128Mbs. and sizes ranging now up to my new 32Gbs. I've used a number of formats including the CF, SD, Mini and Micro SD's. All still work great, of course I could fill my first card with just a very few images now with the camera shoot, but it's great for transferring photos to be printed on my 4x6 printer. Want the best, buy the best, buy SanDisk!

I had to purchase a new memory card when I locked up my others and couldn't get to them. When I first put this in my camera, I was amazed how long it took to fill compared to our other cards. Now, we don't have to go through several cards for a photoshoot or event. What a great price too!

I got this Compact Flash memory because the SD cards are just too difficult for my large fingers and poor eyesight to deal with. The price was great and the file speed is amazing. I had to upgrade to the Lexar USB 3.0 card reader to speed up the download process.

I have used 16gb fast compact flash cards on prior photo shoots, and used this 32gb this past weekend. The camera writing to the flash was quick, and I easily pulled off around 100 shots. I highly recommend this flash card.

This card is wonderful. Read/write speeds are great, and I shoot in RAW format and JPG for each shot, so that slows down the process quite a bit. Even so, I don't ever remember hitting the buffer overload point. As a portrait, commercial and wedding photographer, I almost always shoot as a sniper, and shoot in single shot mode. If I were to use "continuous" setting, and a "spray and pray" approach, I might max out the buffer, requiring me to stop shooting temporarily. This card works great for me, and my style of image creation. Filling a 32 GB card is no easy task, so I can shoot an enticement assignment without changing cards. I remember the days of using those "huge" 256MB and 512MB CF cards. Wow! Times have changed, and prices on cards have come way down.
An aside...
I know, the SD card is pretty much the card of preference for camera makers these days. SD cards are certainly smaller, lighter, and their read/write speeds are great. However, they are more susceptible to physical damage, and a whole lot easier to lose due to their small size. If one accidentally falls to the ground, you won't hear those hundreds of images hit the floor. Oh, well.
I love my Nikon D700's, as their file size is perfectly fine for the vast majority of my professional photography assignments. Low light capabilities are great as well (but not able to shoot extreme low light). And, it is one of the last great cameras to use CF cards. CF cards are going the way of ZIP drives and 8-track tapes. However, if you still have a camera that uses a CF card, this one will fit nicely in the CF card slot, and your budget.
** Remember kids, a better camera won't make you a better photographer. To become a better photographer, become a better photographer.

I bought this to use in an old canon 1DS. It writes pretty fast and I didn't encounter any problems when downloading my pictures. I've used it on about five major events and haven't had any problems so far. I've shot about 3000+ photos and am expecting more out of it.

There aren't many options for CF cards any more. I had another cheap brand, but I was worried that it got corrupted after a few years of overwriting (didn't). So I bought this one. Solid. So far so good. Faster read / write speeds than my old one. Price is fair.

I purchased this CF card for an older Canon Rebel XTi since I really don't like to erase or download photos unless it's absolutely necessary. Memory is so cheap these days it's hardly worth the time to erase or reformat a memory card any more. SanDisk is one of the few remaining reliable CF Card manufacturers I still trust with my photography needs. Another interesting fact is that less than 2 years ago I paid the same price for an 8GB card. You really can't go wrong with this brand. My suggestion is get these while you still can.

I needed a disk with lots of memory so I chose SanDisk Extreme 32GB. I knew I would be taking a few thousand pictures of the CareerBuilder golf tournament in La Quinta California. Best Buy also had it on sale so it was a good choice all around.

I have used Sandisk compact flash cards for over a decade, and I have never had a single problem. This card is more than fast enough to shoot HD video, and actually allows me to shoot more than the specified 8 raw images in continuous shooting.
