Reads/writes quickly and is a convenient size. USB-C connection is good option.

I have been using this as a photography backup with no issues. It is fast and convenient. Good product.

Exactly what I needed as a backup. I DJ a lot and always have 3-4 backup USB hard drives.
At first, my DJ software did not recognize my music folders or (or vice -versa). A folder with 700 songs would take over a minute to appear. The larger the folder, the longer it took. I almost returned the drive, as I was told as well as read that SSD’s were smoking fast.
After a few reboots and file scans using Virtual DJ, all is working well. I suggest a case to be in your budget as this thing is small. You could easily lose or misplace it.

Holy crappy this thing is fast. Use the cable it came with (or a carefully selected longer one if you’re like me and hate short drive cables). I initially used a different, quality cable and was disappointed in the speed. Plugged in the cable from the box and re-transferred 2 hours worth in roughly 3 minutes.
Also the drive is so small and light I thought I got an empty box. LOVE this drive. It’s a 4TB miracle lol.

Compared to the backup drives of the past (And I've got quite a few) .. this is not only TINY in size, but it is just as good at backup as the older ones (and faster to do so overall).
I tend to use the 4tb Drives for when I travel and enjoy my photography hobby -- that's the reason for this purchase. I also use it to hold such as recipes (From cooking schools I attend while traveling - I like to go to places were I can eat and get recipes too learning new techniques), my documents, and other miscellaneous content. (including my backup for my MP3/4 drive music files).

Lots of storage, fast external SSD with USB-C connectivity. However, if you plan on using it on a Macintosh, be aware that (as of Dec, 2021), it arrives formatted as ExFAT. And for software reasons related to Sandisk and/or Mac OS, it cannot be reformatted to HFS+/APS until these software issues are addressed by Apple/Sandisk. So, if you need HFS+/APS (for Time Machine, etc), I would hold off buying one until this issue is fixed.
