This is the third 4TB Sandisk SSD I have purchased. After only two weeks of use it started disconnecting from the computer while in use. This has become more frequent until now I no longer trust it. I have replaced it with one made by Samsung. The 2nd one has also started dropping off. Yikes!

At the moment I'm using a M1 Max MacbookPro as my primary workstation. This small SSD has essentially replaced my old big clunky RAID! It's fast, been reliable for 7 months (so far), and fits in my pocket. Only negative is that when traveling I have to make sure not to lose it! (I actually hook it inside my laptop bag when on the go).

Is blazing fast to browse/organize and edit off of. I like that it has a rubberized exterior layer. Seems like it holds up well to jostles and being thrown around in a camera bag w/ no problem. Nice that it also included a USB-C data transfer cable as well as a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Overall satisfied with my purchase.

I require a lot of external storage and a secondary drive from which I can run apps on my 256 GB Mac Mini M1. This and a couple others I now utilize have completely replaced external hard disk drives in my system. And, if needed to access files on these drives away from home on my 11" iPad Pro M1, a quick eject and I'm on my way. A perfect solution for me!
