The very best, best-priced high-end Memory Card

At this gig spec—and, significantly, at this, exact price, as sold at this excellent Store, BestBuy—the SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB memory card is supreme: Fast in both capture and transfer and proven exceptionally outstandingly manufactured, this (anew, at this configuration) card is THE preferred tool for all serious-earnest photographers, from hobbyist-plus, through full-fledged professional. I would not (successfully) image with anything else, and while the 256GB next-card is also, of course, most-competitively-priced by excellent BestBuy, at only a few dollars more, this configuration, at this price, and these cards are always significantly well-priced at the Store, this is, by far, ideal card material. Sony PNG, comparable specs, comes readily to mind as comparatively fine, but the pricing and, again, proven capture-transfer incomparableness of this, exact best-priced key-camera item are not to be toyed with, nor purchase-overlooked, even if (merely) employed in a point-and-shoot, even one of low-grade quality: That good, that overall-integral to best-practiced over imaging, professional through novice. An A+ go-to imaging element.

Reads and writes fast enough for any day to day uses. Holds plenty of pics and a decent amount of video (depending on which format you’re in). I’ve been using this brand for years and knock on wood haven’t had one card fail me yet. That’s why I keep buying SanDisk!

This is the first SD card I have ever bought and it is wonderful. Every time I go out and bird I can't wait to get home and load the pics to my PC. I love the SD card so much that I placed an order for another just now. There was a price drop from the first time ordering it so that's a bonus.

I was having issues taking 360 degree product photos due to an old, out dated SD card that had a slow speed of 40 MB/s.
My camera was struggling to write the image data to my old SD card before the turn table started rotating again for the next 360 degree product photo.
This card completely solved that issue and allows my camera to be done writing well before it’s time to take the next 360 product photo.

Highly recommend if you will be recording for up to long periods of times. Nothing is worst than running out of space while recording. This memory card has a lot of space.

I've used SanDisk Extrem PRO cards for years and they are reliable, good cards. After six years of heavy use on my previous card, I started getting card errors--though I didn't lose any pictures--and decided to upgrade. I was looking forward to the increase in speed but after running this and my old 32GB 95MB/s card, I was disappointed to see the read speeds are pretty much identical at 90MB/s over my TB3 adapter.

I am a profesional photographer I got home to dump my footage and photos the card would not read by my Mac. I put the card back in my Sony a7 iii and it asked my to format the card. I am angry because my work is on the card and i have to deliver to my clients but I can't get my picture or footage.

Memory cards may be among the less glamorous components in a photographer or videographer's toolkit, but their importance can't be overstated. After several months of extensive use, the SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card has proven to be a standout performer in its category, and here's why:
Speed and Performance: SanDisk promises high-speed data transfer rates with this card, and they absolutely deliver. Whether I'm shooting in rapid succession or recording in 4K, the card keeps up flawlessly, ensuring that I never miss a beat.
Reliability: The worst nightmare of any photographer is a memory card failure, and I'm relieved to report that the Extreme PRO series continues SanDisk's legacy of reliable storage solutions. I've used it in various conditions—hot, cold, humid—and it's been consistently dependable.
Storage Capacity: 128GB might seem like overkill for some, but for professionals or enthusiasts, it's perfect. I can shoot freely without constantly worrying about running out of space, especially during longer projects or trips.
Durability: This card feels robust and is built to withstand the occasional accidental drop or scrape. Plus, its water-resistant and shock-proof features add an extra layer of security.
Compatibility: I've used this card across different devices, from DSLRs to camcorders, and have encountered zero compatibility issues. It's plug-and-play at its best.
Value for Money: Given its performance and reliability, the price point is justified. It's an investment in peace of mind, knowing that your data is safe and accessible at all times.
If I had to nitpick, the only thing I'd highlight is ensuring you buy from reputable retailers. There are counterfeit cards in the market, and one must be cautious to get the genuine product.
In conclusion, the SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB SDXC UHS-I Memory Card is a powerhouse performer, delivering on all fronts. Whether you're a professional looking for a reliable storage solution or an enthusiast wanting to ensure your memories are safe, this card is a top-tier choice.

I only buy Sandisk Extreme Pro cards for my cameras. I haven’t had one fail on me (knock on wood), yet. So when I grabbed a new (to me) camera, and this card was marked down, I had to grab it asap. 128 Gb is giving me more than enough storage in my Leica full frame camera, even shooting DNG+JPG. If you are shooting still pictures, you will always have the speed necessary. If you are shooting 4K video, it is rated well too.

I needed this memory card for my Sony A6100. I wasn't sure if 128 GB was enough but after making a couple of videos recently, I think two to three 128 GB memory card would be ideal.
As far as I can remember using SanDisk, I never had an issue and so it's my favorite brand. I've tried other memory card brands before and regretted it because later on the card would eventually becomes defective therefore useless.
Initially, I wasn't sure if I should get the 64 GB or 128 GB but I'm glad I got the 128 GB because 64 GB was definitely not enough for my 4K recordings. When I recorded a few time-lapses, the 128 GB filled up quickly during mid-day so I wish I bought two. I prefer two cards rather than a single 256 GB card just in case something happens, I had a spare memory card.
I hope this review helps!
