    Didn't measure the speed or anything, however coming from the low end USB flash sticks, this is a huge step up!

    This flash drive is very speedy even when not connected to a USB 3 Port but instead a USB 2 port. The USB connector slides out slightly farther than the actual switch moves. There is a spring mechanism inside that makes the connector pop out. After a little while the connector on mine did not want to retract all the way. However after exercising the switch a few times it started to function correctly again.
