Gave it a shot today and purchased it. Works flawlessly. Good build-quality and actually slightly weighted with a rubber base so it stays put on your desktop. Spring mechanism for inserted cards is firm and easy to operate. Transfers were speedy. Excellent product.

I am able to get the W/R speeds off of my 512GB cfexpress b card. However this reader will leave the card running fairly warm when in idle and NOT ACTIVELY reading on the computer. I believe the price could come down a fair bit.

Solid adapter, the cable feels thick and good quality too. The data transfer is fast, better results by connecting the adapter directly to my laptop then my thunderbolt.
