I use this for storing cad drawings and point clouds for work and it is fast enough that I can work out of the drive.

The total storage and read/write speed of this drive are simply amazing. I am able to store and run a virtual machine off this drive without any issues.

I really liked it when it was almost empty but, when filled to about 60% the drive starts getting lethargic and slow, it also drains a lot of battery from my phone and laptop and takes a minute, sometimes two to connect. Haven't had any serious issues but, truth be told, if you want the advertised speed, the only way to get it is to use it with a powerful laptop and with the thick USB provided with the drive, a regular usb-c won't work at full speed so if you lose the one that comes with it make sure to replace it with a high quality item.

So compact and easy to use. This is my 4th one and have had NO problems using any of them.

With raw being the new way to take photos I shot a sports event and dumped 3000 photos into my laptop and froze it up with no memory! With the 2 tarabite drive I can put the raw photos on it while editing and then work with just the best ones.

It's fast. It's small. It's portable. It's easy. And it's well built. Plugged it into my PS5 to store all those old PS4 games. PS5 recognized it and formatted in no time flat with no issues. So far, so good.

It’s very fast, but also very hot. I used this as game storage for my Xbox. It stayed connected 24/7 and would remain warm. Being used would get hot. I have Samsung T5’s and there is no difference in speed on the Xbox and the T5 stays cool 24/7. I suspect the T5 will last 10 years where the sandisk wont. So I will be returning. Sandisk has a great drive but needs better way of keeping it cool like the Samsung

I purchased this to hold all my information from several computers. The speed is impressive! Don’t use a cheap USB-C cable, otherwise you risk slow transfers, I made that mistake. The included cable is sufficient.
