This is the best hard drive I have. It says 2000mbs. My computer only supports 80mbs. Don’t get confused. Great option for video editing and photography.

This was a gift to myself using a lot of Best Buy Rewards credit. It was on sale, so with the rewards I was getting a great price. However, luckily I got it over the holiday, because when I was ready to use it a month later, it was a dud. I would have been stuck with this $400 paperweight. I recommend checking the device before return policy expires.

Failed after less than 2 weeks. This drive has a FUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM! Even the cable didn't work! Couldn't get refund either. A bad deal.

I've used these drives for years and they are great. I listen to high definition music that has up to a 45 megabyte a second transfer so I need these SSDs and they deliver. I've seen it clock at 300 MB a second and I've never had one fail. They are also very small and light in size so I just leave it plugged in the USB port, hanging off the back off the computer. I'm giving it 5 stars for value but I bought this back before AI increased memory prices 30% so they are more now.

This thing is a dream. Compact, lighting fast transfers, no moving parts to damage, built tough, lightweight, and large capacity.

I have been using this external hard drive for a few weeks now, and it has performed exactly as I hoped. Setup was quick—just plug it in, and my computer recognized it right away. Transfer speeds are noticeably faster compared to my older drive, which makes moving large video and photo files much easier. The design is compact and lightweight, so it doesn’t take up much space on my desk and is easy to carry when traveling. I also appreciate that it runs quietly without getting too warm during long file transfers. The only downside is that the included cable feels a little short, so depending on where your USB ports are located, you might want a longer one. Otherwise, it’s been very reliable and gives me peace of mind knowing my files are backed up. Overall, this external hard drive offers excellent value for the price and has quickly become an essential tool for my daily work.

It is small and lightweight. The transfer speed is fast. A good portable device to take with me for traveling and transferring photos and videos. I bought a 1TB of SanDisk before. This 4TB works even faster than the old one.

I bought this because I wanted all of my photos and videos on a physical device, not just the cloud. I downloaded over 15,000 photos and videos from Amazon Pictures, and it took only about 7 hours. I was impressed that I had no problems whatsoever with this. Too often when you buy something technical, you get errors, crashes, incompatibility issues, etc. Not with this. All I had to do was follow the instructions, set the download, and leave it alone until it was done. And best of all, even with that many photos and videos, it barely made a dent in the storage. I have a new grandson and I've already got over a thousand pics and videos of him and he's only 4 months old, so this device will definitely earn its keep!
