The device offers a simple way to transfer files and photos form your iPhone and iPad. The same can be accomplished by connecting to a computer, but with the size, it is portable and easy to take with you to use as needed. The price is fair for the convenience it offers.

I like this device because you can easily move pictures from your Apple device and free up space while you're on-the-go. No need to connect your Apple device to your computer. Also, it has a free downloadable app on the App Store that works with the device itself.

This devise works better than other brands not only because it has twice the memory, it also has a flexible lightening plug to fit through cases which the other brands do not. Also transfer was easy, just slow which is why the device did not get five stars

I had trouble with my iPhone transferring pictures to my computer, it was an issue with Windows 8. This device made it simple to transfer the pictures. I have also taken it with me on trips and use it as added storage if my iPhone is getting full and running out of space for videos. Very simple for anyone to use and small enough to pack along on a trip.

Has been great so far. Works quickly and easily out of the box. Only needed to charge for a bit and I used a regular usb wall charger base. Small size makes it easy to carry in my purse. I've downloaded off of the iPad to free up space and transferred to laptop with ease.

I was told by others that there was no external device that I could load my pictures off my iPhone 6 to free up memory. But I found this little gem and I love it. Hold thousands of pics and videos and plugs right into my phone with no extra cords or attachments. Then it has a seperate USB port to plug into desktop/laptop. Perfect!!

Being a PC user with an iPhone I was looking for an easy way to copy photos to my computer.. This easily does the trick, but at the regular price I feel it is too expensive. Since I got it on sale, I am a happy camper.

Pros: Small convenient portable storage for Ipad use. Plenty of space for storing photos. Easy set-up. Cons: Very, very slow in initial loading of selected data.

I've been using a hyper drive device for many years. It has been a flexible but not necessarily the best portable storage device. The Sandisk Ixpand is small and much more portable if you are using a recent IPHONE or IPAD. However, it's limitation to photos and non encrypted videos leaves it as a mainly good storage device for travelers who want extra backup. Those people who have 16 gig IPHONES will find this device especially useful.

This product does exactly what I expected. I can store and transfer pics between my iPhone, iPad, and pc. Easy to use. I am pleased with it. Only 4 stars because I think it's a little pricey.

I've been waiting for something like this and didn't realize SanDisk had released this product until the Best Buy sales associate told me about it. The product works great and is easy to use. I'm ecstatic at how quick and easy the App was to install and the transfer of data occurs. My only gripe about this product is the weird way the lightning connector (?) pulls out from the device. I'm not sure how many times you can bend this thing and push it back in, etc. before it becomes flimsy and weak. It's just an odd design that I wouldn't have chosen if I had a choice of devices. Other than the aforementioned - would have given this product 5-stars.

Ok so I got this to take with me to CES. It's not a bad device but you can find better. Let me explain. The first problem with this is that it's got to be recharged. So if your on a plane or somewhere without power and it dies your done. Second it does not always connect to the iPhone. For some reason it glitches and it takes two or three tries to connect. I've found the Leef to work much better then this. Besides these two issues it works ok. I wish it was USB 3 the transfer speeds are a bit slow.

I always wanted a way to save pictures from my phone with out computer and this does good job and it can save contacts from your phone just in case you lose them in a upgrade of iOS but that's not half of it you can put videos & music on it and play it thur your phone with out using up your space on iPhone or iPad the only draw back I seen is it don't back up your apps or purchase from iTunes but over whole thing it great use and you can use it as thumb drive to put something on it

This is the first Apple-compatible device that allows me to easily transfer files/pictures from my iPhone to any other device. It works with a downloadable app that is very intuitive.

I am terrible about running out of space on my phone while taking photos so now (especially when traveling), I don't have to worry about losing photos to clear up space. It's like portable memory. Perfect accessory for iPhone.

This is a great product for the post PC world. This will allow photos to be saved from an iPad and printed at a different location. It is a flash drive with the best of both worlds. I recommend this to anyone with an iPad.

This device saves a lot of time and provides a great backup for pictures taken on the iPhone or iPad. Also used it for pictures taken on regular camera and transferred to PC. This picks them up from PC and lets you easily transfer them to iPhone and iPad for showing to friends. The only downside is that it does not always transfer all the pics you selected. Sometimes you have to figure out which were missed and reselect and retransfer and reorder pics on target device. On a phone this can be tedious because images are small Altogether, it' still a handy device and much needed.

My daughter wanted this for more memory for her apple devices and this works like a charm. Kinda expensive but well worth it. Recommended to transfer between apple devices.

Why spend $100 more for double the memory when you can buy one of these and spend a fraction of the price for all of your devices? This is the perfect way to share photos and movies while on the go or at home.
