This product easily adds memory for the iPad and iPhone and makes file transfers a cinch. Storing a movie on the device enables you to have entertainment on a long plane flight on an otherwise full iPad.

Just plug it in and it works. App works well; Word, Excel, and pdf files open with a touch. Okay, you can't recharge the iPad while the Sandisk is plugged in, but that seems to be a minor inconvenience.

When I first found out about the SanDisk iXpand I was intrigued that I could move files from my iPhone to a USB drive and into a computer and not have to use iTunes. It was great to be able to take information off of my phone pictures, music and, video and simply just transferred to the drive. The app was easy to use and didn't take any effort in using it, the drive has it's own battery and recharges when connected to a USB port. Another nice feature of the expand is the drive can be made secure if you should choose to do so and not have to worry too much about important information that may be on the drive. It's a great way to move and share photos and videos.

I am a big movie buff. This allows me to have tons of movies with me when I travel. Easy setup and operation.

extremely easy to use. download the app for your iphone/ipod touch and set what you want to transfer. Big enough for the larger files. Makes it easy to save your important pictures/music etc.

This is a great device if you are an Apple user. Great for transferring files between devices and freeing up space.

The only FlashDrive I know that works & plugs directly onto an iPhone/iPad with Lightning connector that can copy or dump pics & movies In or Out directly to a compatible IOS Device then move data back & forth to any computer or laptop (Windiws or IOS) with USB 2.0 Connector. Running out of memory space on your iPhone or IPad? This is the only FlashDrive solution I know that can directly backup your pics & movies without using iiTunes or any computer. Also if you want to quickly load pics or movies onto your IOS DEVICE from a FlashDrive, then this is the best way that it can be done very quickly. I love it! It's indispensable.

Being an engineer, I don't have much trouble managing storage on my iPad and iPhone but as the family IT guy I have to support the kids. The made it easy to get pictures and videos off of several devices especially when wireless service may be iffy. My one concern is why there is a battery and what happens when if fails. Because of the battery, I hesitate leaving it a hot car.

I love this flash drive! I picked this product up because I did not have enough storage on my iPhone 6 Plus and needed the extra store for photos and videos. This external flash drive was able to provide all of the extra storage that I needed for backing up my photos and videos off of my iPhone. I would highly recommend the product to anyone that is looking for extra storage that does not want to go through Apple and pay the monthly cloud storage fee. Using the rubber Lightning Port for the USB drive takes a little getting used to, overall, awesome way to make sure all of your memories are backed up and safe!

Scan Disc Flash drive is an excellent product anytime and we will use this flash drive...however, it is not what we were thinking of using it for. We wanted to be able to move item from the iPad to the flash drive to free up memory space on the iPad. With this flash drive you can only move pictures and I think music. We wanted to move "games" to the flash drive because that it what is using all the memory up. But as I said, Scan Disc is a great product.

When you do not want to keep files on the iCloud - this device will store and transfer them easily between devices INCLUDING PCs! If you're travelling and exceed storage space on your phone or tablet, it's great to be able to move files (more than just photos) to this lightening drive. Be persitent - the sales staff will tell you that such a thing doesn't exist, but it's on the Best Buy website and in the stores. I've found them in accessories/near the Apple products/and on the flash drive wall - different locations in different stores. Best invention since sliced bread! (or maybe the iPhone).

I had my doubts about purchasing the SanDisk - iXpand, but if it did what it said it would do, I would be happy. After purchasing the device, it did do everything that it promised. I'm able to quickly and easily move picture/videos back and forth from my iPhone to the SanDisk - iXpand and my computer. No more worrying about deleting precious photos from my iPhone to make space for more pictures and apps! The only thing that the SanDisk - iXpand does not do is transfer from another person's iPhone. In order to transfer photos from a friend's iPhone, you would have to format the SanDisk - iXpand.

Saves my wife a lot of space on her phone by easily transferring pictures from phone to device then to wherever. A little pricey but gets the job done with ease.

Easy to use and gave me extra space on my phone. Now i actually am able to take pictures and download apps again

The San-Disk is very simple to use. it frees up so much space on my phone and also you can carry it to develop pictures at you local picture processing places.

This has came in handy for me to load with music and not have to use up all of my storage on my phone. Easy to use.

This was a great birthday gift to free up memory on my phone and iPad. Easy to navigate.

I have yet to actually use this product, but I'm looking forward to it now that I have upgraded to the iPhone 6. I was always running out of room on my phone with pictures (granted my phone was 8gb of space) so I'm looking forward to using this to transfer the pictures on the go. I like the idea that this can expand my space by 32gb for my pictures and videos. I plan on getting the 64gb in the future.

I have been looking for something that would give additional storage so my kid could load up a bunch for movies on her iPad Mini for longer road trips. This was the perfect solution. She can load up several movies and choose what she wants to watch, instead of being limited to 1 or 2. The only issue is the awkward way it plugs into the iPad. Other than that, I've had no issues at all with it.

This flash drive was made for college! perfect for those products that are limited on space, especially any ipad model. just perfect!
