I know that they do this to protect their users from themselves. This flash drive lets you do exactly what you want to. Copy and move files. It is slow, but it works.

Easy to use for transferring photos and video

Easy to hook to your iPhone and select the pictures and videos you would like to download. This gave me a chance to delete pictures from my phone and still have them safely saved.
