Very poor ease of use.

But, the software of this device has to be updated first and the directions to do that is not intuitive or easily followed. I still haven't figured it out and will probably return device.

Good in theory, but really slow

What better way to clear memory on the your phone than to dump photos on this drive and push to your computer later? It also had the ability to view movies on your phone or tablet that were uploaded to the drive. Well...I found that it was sooooooo slow dumping those photos that it was not worth it to me. I returned it and got a personal cloud, wirelessly backing up my photos through my home network from anywhere I have Internet access. I can also access the personal cloud and play music from it...also anywhere I have Internet access. So, this was a good concept, but a little too slow for my needs.

Power drain when using it for a music player
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I filled it up with music files so I could remove most of the music from my iPhone but still have music at work. It works pretty well for that, but has two problems. First - sometimes the software glitches and it forgets what it was playing with an error message so I have to select a song again to play. That's probably more a software issue than a problem with this device. Second - it burns up the iPhone's battery power incredibly fast. I can't listen to music all day anymore, because the battery drains so much faster with the music on the external drive instead of on the phone.
