Very convenient, just plug it into your phone, install the SanDisk app, and start copying files to the drive. Then move it to the device where you want the files. Its just a thumb drive with the addition of the lightning connector

I have a 32GB SanDisk lightning connector unit which I used on an older iPad and iPhone and it works great. When I upgraded both the phone and tablet to news ones with 64GB storage wanted a new iXpand also. This fits the bill and is also easier to use and fits better and works with the cases I have on both gadgets. Tried the WiFi version but it was slow. Returned it and bought this one and it works great. App is easy to use. Useful even if you have lots of cloud storage. Highly recommended.

This is the only flash drive of which I am aware that has a connector that plugs directly into the iPad which then makes backup or sharing directly with other iPad users so simple. I also have taken info from other USB drives without a connector and transferred onto this flash drive via an iMac so that the info is readily available for use on my iPad. Many uses for an iPad which of course does not have a USB port.

Heading into our Summer Family Vacation, we knew we would be taking a ton of photos. Like many, my wife's and my phone was full to the brim when it came to videos and photos. We purchased this device to help us keep our phones clear while keeping our photos and videos on hand as we don't fully trust cloud based back ups with our precious memories. This device functioned exactly as described and helped us to clear our phone memory to make room for all the new photos and videos. The interface is very simple and easy to use.

I've got all of my music, photos and ebooks loaded on it and still have loads of space left to add more. The iXpand makes it easy for me to carry all my data with me when I travel without using all my iPads storage space. I can read my PDF files or listen to music right from the iXpand without having to download it to my iPad. It works great for me!

Product was easy to use and convienient moving files to / from multiple Apple devices. Had a minor compatibility issue with the iPhone X but sandisk was very helpful and issued a replacement. Decent purchase.

This is a great little gadget, a bit pricey but it dose the job. I use it to free up extra space on my phone and I love it.

I love this iXpand drive. It is my second one. An easy way to free up space on you iPhone and be able to view and save photos on computer. The only thing I would like to see changed is how it saves your camera roll backup. Do not like that it saves only in folders by the month. Would prefer it saved the backup exactly as it is on my phone with NO folders. Makes it a little difficult to find photos you are looking for.

I have several USB thumb drives but none provided password protection for sensitive files. It was too difficult to try and create hidden files on those keys and Windows 10 did have BitLocker but you needed the Pro version for that feature which the upgrade would have cost me 4 times more then the cost of this thumbdrive. I also like that it plug easily into my iPhone and word perfectly for extra storage space..

A fabulous way to store photos, etc. Easy plug and play. Nice and compact.

Bought this flash drive for my Iphone X and very satisfied with this product. I use to always worry that one day I will run out of space (64GB) on my phone and I'm grateful that this flash drive fix that problem. I'm not exactly tech savvy but I was amaze that it was so easy to transfer pisc/videos from my phone to my computer. Now I can take as much pictures I want and also maintain enough data space available in my phone.

I used this on several different devices. iPad Pro 10.5, iPhone XR, iPad Air (original). It worked really well, but you have to first install their app to use it. Other than that, you easily move over media files from your computer to the iXpand drive, plug it into your apple device and you're good to go. I've tried playing avi, mp4, mkv, and mp3 files and they all had no issue.

I needed a drive that enabled me to easily record videos on my iPad, then quickly transfer them to a coworker's PC laptop. This is perfect! Easy to use. Fast transfer speed. Great design. The app is simple & intuitive. Plenty of memory. Seems to work with photos, videos and music. Haven't figured out if I can also transfer files, but that would be extra-perfection :)

This is second one I've bought. Needed to back up IPad photos and my PC computer is too old to view what was in IClouc and download photos from there or directly to PC from IPad.

I bought this item to use for printing pictures from my iPhone. When they are in the cloud, they don’t show on the kiosk when printing pictures. This will eliminate that problem.

I had a difficult time to get this to work...had to take it in & out several times..still wouldn't work..let it sit for a couple of days...then it worked! transfered photos & videos to it...but for safety sake did not remove them from IPAD till I'm absolutely sure it works....copied to my pc first just in case...will then check to see it they're still on the flash drive for safekeeping. Am no geek as you can see...they should make all this easier for people like me...like using plain english not geek lingo!

I use this as a Tesla usb drive to plug in and use my dash cam and sentry mode. I LOVE that it’s iphone compatible so that I don’t have to inplug every time and go plug into a laptop. I love that if anything happened to my car I can view the footage by just plugging it in my phone. Best purchase I have made!!!! My sister bought one too for her Tesla and also loves it.

I absolutely love this flash drive being Apple products do not have removable storage. I can transfer everything from my phone to the drive and know that it is safe!

Bought it for my wife. She loves it! Whenever she needs to clean up the phone (sync) or more space (photos), connect, check, go. Phone ready to take more pictures!
