Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While It does the job as a compact and versatile storage device, I've found it to be quite lacking, while Best Buy's specifications does not list a 'Write Speed' another source of has the that speed at 900 megabytes per second, but the fastest this thing goes is around 30 to 35, and as my personal store of files has only grown. I'm disappointed I've only gotten around to this review now. For prospective buyers I suggest looking at other options and as you do keep in mind read/write speeds in addition to capacity better than I did. Have a good one.

Very easy flash drive

I had so many pictures on my imac. I also had all of my sons music on my imac. Everything was getting uploaded to my icloud account. He had about forty-five albums of his music and together we had about ten thousand pictures. Finally, I am making some progress with this little gadget. Thanks for you help SanDisk.

Worked great. Had a lot of photos and music so the 256gb size was very helpful. USB 3.0 makes it work a lot quicker than some of the other flash drives I've used in the past. Also; got it on sale.
