Flash drive has 256 gb just what I need for storage. Easy to use, stores all my photos from my I Phone 12 Pro Max.it frees space in your I Phone which you may need for other uses. It’s small easy to carry in your pocket and can be used anytime you need it. I started to get a 112 gb but the staff convinced me my 35,000 plus photos may easily fill it up. They were very helpful in my selecting the 256 gb flash drive to make sure I had enough space for all my photos. The price was very affordable for such a large capacity.

I when on a trip to Florida to a family birthday, at the party I started taking picture but after two photos my iPhone had run out of space, I should had save my photos to the clouds put I'm not sure how that really works, I so an add about the SanDisk flash drive Go and how easy it is to use and sure enough I was back in action taking photo after I had transfer all the photos from my phone to the Flash Drive Go, now I never leave home with out it.

I have a work phone that is older iphone. I am not allowed to purchase data because company dont allow and want me to go into “iCloud” online. Problem with that wss i am not allowed password to the account so the IT person logs in and tell you to delete directly from account online. If done on the phone everything will come back because the cloud. I was on the iCloud account for ever goinh through 13k video & photos i had since 2015. I was annoyed like there got to be a better way and i found this device and purchased it and took everthing off the phone picture, and files and my phone memory was free. So easy to do and love it connects directly to the phone port.

Very impressed with this little gem!! I had maxed out my phone's memory over many years of taking pics while traveling, I've tried transferring from the cloud, syncing to external hard drive, you name it... Nothing was as easy as this!! It takes a while to go through your entire photo album selecting pictures organized by day, but once you start the transfer, just watch it go. The only inconvenience I can note is since you're searching pics and then transferring - your screen stays on the whole time, so it does eat up the battery, HOWEVER, if you can utilize a wireless charger, you can transfer for days, lol. Lastly, a huge benefit in my opinion is once you complete transferring whatever you selected, it automatically asks if you want to remove those from your device and the cloud. Streamlined, effortless, easy, & efficient!! I love it and super glad I bought it!!

Very useful. Perfect solution when I’m trying to share files while working in the field without internet or poor cellular service. Plenty of storage for temporary storage and I like how compact it is. The iOS app is pretty user friendly too.

I purchased this drive to easily back up items on my iPhone. I plugged it in my iPhone, downloaded the app, and the drive downloaded the pics and videos onto the drive. When it finished, it said that the pics and videos were safely downloaded onto the drive, It asked if I wanted to delete the pics and videos from my phone. I wanted to be sure that the pics and videos were on the drive, so, I said no. When I checked the drive, and the data was there, I can’t get back to the screen where I can delete them from my phone. I did an online chat with Best Buy and they said that I will have to delete the data manually. I haven’t done that yet. Maybe if I start over……..

I use this to carry movies when traveling. Since it has two ports I can use it on my iPhone, IPad, and laptop. I’m sure it would work equally well on Android devices. I’ve got a couple of hundred pieces of content with me in a tiny device.

The drive works great. I own a number of them and am quite happy with them. BUT, the new software that Sandisk uses is going too far. In addition to downloading photos from my iPhone, it insists to also download my Contacts list. I don’t want that. It also does a number of other things that I don’t want or need it to do. They might be good for the business world, but they should also ask permission or allow the user to choose the options they want and opt out of others.

I purchased this usb drive a month ago as my phone storage was full and there was some error coming while transferring pictures to my laptop. This product is amazing very easy to transfer all your pictures and data. I had more than 6000 photos and videos and there was no issues while transferring. Another benefit is there is a option for auto backup so when ever you connect this to your phone it will automatically starts backing up. And most importantly you can Cary it every where. I really recommend this to everyone.

Great for storage, love that it connects to my phone! Only thing I’d change is it not requiring so much battery and internet to use on my phone

Bought this SanDisk 256GB iXPand drive on sale for $59.99 compared to its regular price of $109.99. $60.00 is the top price I would pay for this accessory anyway, as MSRP consumer prices are almost always overinflated on technological accessories. Here’s the GOOD, BAD, and UGLY on this SanDisk drive: GOOD: Small and very compact, with quick plug-and-play drive recognition on your Apple device. Performs well, but a bit slow when backing up thousands of photos for the very first time. Understandable. BAD: Straight small footprint model is more fragile than its larger curved predecessor models. The dual-port drive housing itself is basically a shiny, cheap metal casing so don’t press down hard on the hardware at any time. The LIGHTNING plug-in tip and the USB plug-in tip are obviously connected to the single drive mechanics inside this metal casing. Over time, it may randomly shift to one end or the other while inside the casing. When this happens, make certain the USB plug-in tip in pressed back in (flushed) against the casing opening and does not protrude out. If it does, the lightning plug-in tip will not make a complete connection into your Apple device. THIS RANDOM SHIFTING MOVEMENT IS ANNOYING and cheap in design - but, nonetheless, completely harmless in operation. UGLY: This drive IS NOT HARDWARE ENCRYPTED as advertised!!! It is SOFTWARE FILE ENCRYPTED only. With true HARDWARE security encryption, you need enter a master password only once to unlock the entire drive for access each time the drive is inserted into a device (thereby essentially locking and locking the drive and its entire contents INSTANTLY). This substandard and less secure SOFTWARE encrypted method requires you to password-protect every file and folder that you wish on your drive MANUALLY with a password. God help you if you inadvertently create a different password - let’s say by making an unintentional typo - for different folders and/or files. This sloppy, software-encryption process is unnecessarily tedious and time-consuming at best. FINAL NOTE: For the price of $60.00, it is a decent, reliable, no-frills backup drive for your photos, PDF, MS-Word, and other files. The latest software update seems to have FINALLY corrected previously repeated freezes and crashes when using the APP. If you’re looking for a smart, simply, and seamless HARDWARE ENCRYPTED dual-port thumb drive for your iOS-DOS devices, however, you’re better off looking elsewhere for a similar product.

I had a lot of photos and videos on my phone from the last 15 years. So many, that they were slowing my phone down speed. Using this I Easly download around 3500 pictures, and 250 videos and clear my phones data!

I like to take videos: kids’ birthday parties, soccer games, family holiday events. Those choices chew up phone memory quickly. I bought this thumb-drive because of the great reviews and tremendous price discount. With the USB to Apple lightning configuration, I transferred the phone videos and photos easily to the thumb-drive and then deleted most of the data from the phone Now, I can catalog and edit the videos and photos on my laptop at my leisure. Definitely recommend. PS: The thumb-drive is tiny. Easy to misplace. I hook it to a key ring.

My dad wanted to back up all his photos, but he can't figure out how to use iPhoto. Even after I show him multiple times, so I got him this after reading some reviews – it seems basic enough. Actually it's TOO BASIC (in a very positive way!). You literally install the APP, plug this into the iPhone and it automatically starts backing up photos/videos. The one downside is that it can kill your battery, so make sure your battery is charged up. There is no aux power when this is connected, which is also a downside. Things I can live with knowing how simple it was to make backups of precious photo memories.

Right on point! great purchase for what I needed and the Salesperson was extra helpful listening to my concerns of what I needed to do! recommend getting this for your phone it’s a dual component it switches back so you can plug it right into the computer freeing up space on your phone.
