Saving pictures

Thumbdrive for your phone

Plug it in, download the app from the App store, set to backup. I did all my photos. Then put drive in my laptop and copied them over. Downside is that it is slow to copy from phone (I tested with an iphone imax 10 ? ) to the SanDisk drive. The drive says it is USB 3.0 so it did copy much faster over to the laptop than from the phone to the drive. Of course I was copying about 50 GB of data from phone.

Good storage

Also when you click on all photos it will download the original picture and the “live” picture as 2 different files and will take up more space. It’s best to choose the files you want manually.
