Not for the dumb drive to ask to use MORE space just for it to work. If have 20,000+ photos this is not going to work. It keeps saying operation failed. Waste of money and my reward coupon. Ugh. I thought it would come in really handy to transfer files I have on my phone to another computer easily. I tried looking on the package to see if there were any specifications I needed to be aware of but it wasn’t made clear how it works. When I plugged it in, I had to download an app and I could only access my photos from camera roll. That wasn’t the reason why I bought that specific drive. So glad I got a refund.
