    My newest digital camera needs a U3 class card to work properly (e.g., writing 4K video to the card). U3 means that it writes consistently at at least 30 MB/sec. The big number (90 MB/s) is not that important because that is the read from the card speed. make sure you wait to buy SD cards on sale, because they are usually way overpriced.

    I coupled this with my 1080 HD camcorder for fast moving sports and family events. Video quality is great. I also saw an improvement in the pic quality in my DSLR. I I had been using an old SDHC card in that camera and struggling to get great shots. I had not realized that the old card had degraded - plus the older one is a class 5. This is a class 10.

    Disks are disks really. SanDisk has been my go to for photo and now video. The disk is fast as needed and has no issues with holding the media

    We've always used SanDisk memory cards for our cameras and we've never had any problems with them. They are durable and work well.

    I came to best buy after a mishap with a client i had and all my photos were corrupted. The card i had previous didnt write pictures to the card fast enough as i was taking them. With this i've noticed nothing go wrong. When I bought it at the store it was 10$ cheaper than the other card of the same writing speed.
