Do your homework, avoid cheap TLC-based drives

They make any Core i3/5/7 of just about any generation wholly new and usable again. But beware of TLC-based drives! They have a tendency to see a performance drop after they hit a certain read/write threshold. This drive is MLC-based, and keeps its performance far longer than cheap TLC. They're not as good as 3D-Nand, but they're great for those that don't want to spend a ton but still get great performance.

So much Faster than disk type drives

Google your memory types and you'll see, in this price range, MLC is much, much better (long-term) than TLC. It's not as good as 3D-Nand, but it's quite a bit cheaper.

Best Buy provided technology solutions for just that. I being able to order online and pickup in a special "will-call" line made it very quick and easy, thus maximizing productivity.

I strongly suggest holding out to get a bigger size ssd over this one.. I have 3 games plus DLC for said games on it and as a result i have about 27-28GB leftish- games i have installed on my SSD currently= Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, DOOM 2016, and GTA5. bought this mainly to eliminate GTA5 ridiculous loading times and solve texture streaming issues in games with extreme gfx settings ( this SSD is soo great but capacity is just underwhelming) wish i wouldve waited to buy 1tb SSD instead.
