This computer will primarily be used for school assignments that require video production and graphics presentations. Installation has easy and seamless. The drive has served very well in making production of the assignments. Very happy and I recommend this Solid State Drive.

Nice upgrade

It's working well and I was able to install MidnightBSD on a ZFS volume without issues. It's 7mm tall so fit fine in the laptop and power consumption seems good in terms of battery life. Read/write speeds are about what i'd expect.

Wow... very fast!

Bought this SSD and installed it as the primary drive, using my old HDD as the data drive. Made a clean Windows install on the SSD and BAM! My 6 year old i5 PC is now Lightning fast! Startup takes <30 seconds after the BIOS screen. Definitely recommend at least 240 GB SSD so that some additional software can be installed on it like Office.

Great price and performance

When I saw that they make a SSD for laptops I bought it for improved speed, which was immediately noticeable. My 7 year old laptop now runs almost as fast as a new model. If you're considering getting a new laptop, I would recommend that you get yourself a clone kit and swap out your old HDD for this SSD, and you may realize it's the only upgrade you need. Very happy with the purchase.
