Bought this for my i7 6700k GTX 1070 gaming rig. Performs as advertised. My system boots into Windows 10 in 12 seconds from startup. Ditch that old HDD and get yourself a Solid State drive. Great for any application!

I purchased this after my previous drive stopped working. I wanted the improved capabilities of solid state, especially since I use this drive for programs, so I upgraded to this drive. I would have preferred a larger size to futureproof my purchase, but they were sold out due to the great sale. So far, this has done everything I needed it to do and has improved performance when accessing my data. Happy with my purchase!

If you have a computer built in the last 5-7 years, your life will be changed by installing this and getting away from the old HDD (spinning drives). Find a program out there, like EaseUs, and effortlessly transfer your entire system over to SSD...no, seriously do it. You're talking a difference in speed between dial-up and high speed internet; or doing 1 thing every minute vs doing 1000-3000 things per minute. HUGE difference.

I replaced the old drive on my Acer laptop with this SanDisk. The boot up speed on my Acer was really getting slow and this helped improve my laptop speed a lot. Since it is only 240Gb I added another SD card to store movies on etc. This San Disk drive fit perfectly and now my laptop boots in less than half the time using Windows 10. I would recommend this to anyone looking to improve boot up speed on an older laptop.

I was resurrecting an old windows laptop for 1 use. It had the original HDD in it and was just too slow to be useful. The machine is old and slow with very little ram. I decided I was either going to throw the laptop away or replace the HDD with something faster. After finding this SSD for a great price I went for it. The machine is now completely usable and will remain in use for a few more years.

I have purchased more than a dozen of these drives for my IT customers in the past 6 months. Their computers now boot in about 20 seconds or less. Let's face it. 95% of all my customers use less than 80 GB of storage. Why would you want a SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW old fashioned 2TB Hard Drive. Upgrade with this and never look back. Got a great deal as a weekly special. Replaced the hard drive in my older laptop with this SSD. I knew it would be faster than a conventional hard drive, but wow, I'm impressed with how much faster and snappier everything responds. Upgrading to an SSD was well worth the price. The laptop was 5 yrs old, and if I'd put in the SSD before buying my new laptop, I'd probably delayed replacing it for another couple years.

Discontinuing my PC build, refurb, and repair hobby. This purchase was part of my last refurb, a small Toshiba 11" diagonal laptop, that would become my gameday sports reference and TV companion. Have it up to snuff running Win-10 latest version. It was an older tech PC. Maxing out the memory and installing this drive made a big difference in performance.

I build PC's as my side hustle and I use this ssd's all the time. They are way cheaper than all the crap you can find used and they perform really good! It depends on the pc but windows load time is usually around 10 sec which is very good! SanDisk known as a good reliable brand for a long time already. Would definitely recommend it to anybody. Using a solid state drive as a primary drive can really boost the performance. This is a very good drive for the money, I have bought three of them over the last year, now all of my families desktop computers have them. The 250 GB capacity is perfect for a primary drive, plenty of room and small enough to cut down lag. A larger secondary should be used for storage. Keep the primary clear of clutter as much as possible.
