    I have purchased various SSD's and going brand to brand I can say that the average consumer will notice no difference. At this price point I can recommend 240 GB for someone upgrading from a HDD on a laptop and all they do is browse the web and type papers or as a boot drive in a desktop that will be accompanied with a HDD.

    My 6 year old desktop was getting too slow to be of any real use and I didn't want to just replace it yet. I ended up buying this to use and did a clean install of Win10. I am getting much fast response and the boot time is under 30 seconds. Thats from off to opening a internet browser. I was so impressed, I bought 2 more to replace laptop HDDs.

    Bought this after my IMAC blew its hard drive. Made such an amazing difference. Solid state memory blows away the hard drive in speed (although it was more expensive). Totally worth it though. Videos play flawlessly and the solid state memory allows me to start working super quickly like my MacBook air. Almost no load time. Totally worth it. Should have splurged for the 500MB model.

    I have bought dozens of these primarily due to the low cost, and they are always on sale. They work great. I've used them to upgrade many computers from normal spinning disk drives, both desktop and laptop, and they do a fantastic job. Never had a bad experience with them. They may not be the best in terms of raw performance, but for an older computer, they are a great value.
