I have been replacing the hard drives in many laptops and desktops with these. It is a functional size with a reasonable price. It is the most economical method of increasing the performance of an older PC or Laptop.

SSD's are faster than disk drives. Disk drives can fail anytime and can also last very very long at the same time. SSD's guranteed to work for some time and they will fail after 2 to 6 years based on your usage. Most of them become readonly once it has about 95 errors. You get a chance to copy to new ssd and move on.

Added this to one of my desktop computers and is still going strong to this day which goes to show SanDisk truly makes a great product as well very reliable. I have since formatted this drive now and it's currently running inside of a laptop that needed a speed increase for moderate use. It might be entry level SSD but the true speed of an entry vs the price tag of the big boy drives that cost double personally isn't as noticeable as some may say or claim. Buy from this company without any worries. I've never seen a SanDisk product fail on my end as well the other products they have including the flash drives which flash drives usually are suspect to failure.

Before purchasing the SanDisk solid state drive, our business desktop was having severe issues on its speed to boot up and in running business software programs. I purchased SanDisk at the recommendation of Geek Squad. Following installation, the increased speed was significant - at least 10 times faster.

I have had 2 HP Laptops and two Desktops that were performing slow after upgrading to Windows 8 and then 10. Converting to the SSD gave all of them new life. SanDisk is an excellent choice with proven reliability.. but remember if you keep the had drive you removed you have a back-up to when you upgraded...

I am very satisfied with this purchase of SanDisk Plus Solid State Drive. Good price and easy to install. Really works well and has improved my laptop speed. Will be buying another one.

Worked perfectly, I backed up my laptop drive using EaseUS Todo backup home, which is free, made a whole drive clone using the easy interface. Plugged the SSD into the laptop using a cheap hard drive dock. Once the clone was done, I simply took the hard drive out of the laptop, slapped the SSD in and powered it up. It was exactly the same computer and files, but booted into windows in about 8 seconds. Usually this takes 3 minutes. Usually once in windows it is about 5 minutes before you can actually open something and use it. With the SSD apps are available and open instantaneously after getting to the desktop. Made the old laptop feel and run faster than any computer in the house. I highly recommend this upgrade, and because of the low price of this drive, it is absolutely worth every penny.

Works great for my operating system. Quick startup. Easy to install into my computer and loading software onto it was easy as well. Light weight and doesn't take up much space either.

speed is great. reasonable price for SSD. would have been nice if it included the mount bracket. had to buy that separate.

Shopped around looking for a new ssd to use as my primary drive for win 7. Finally decided on this and am happy I did! I've been using the drive for the past month, almost every day, and have not had any problems. Definitely recommend this for the lower cost and reliability.

Replaced a defective hdd on a laptop, what a difference in performance and speed. Would highly recommend as an inexpensive upgrade.

This started out as a replacement for old laptop hard drive. Didn't work out that way. We found out the problem with his laptop was internal battery. We replaced his old laptop with a new laptop and switched out the hard drive with this solid state one. Works beautifully.

This drive is not faster than other ssd drive, but it is a reliable hard drive. I prefer to buy Ultra 2 that with same storage capacity as it is a fast SSD drive. However, I don't really need the fast drive as I will install into my daily use notebook. If you want to save 15 to 20 dollars, this SSD plus drive is a good choice.

Purchased as part of an operating system upgrade from VISTA to Windows 10 (64 bit). Light weight and relatively small size did not require a drive slot, allowing drive to be placed almost anywhere in my large tower. As I upgraded the CPU at the same time, I can not provide any idea as to the actual speed gained from the drive, but can say that system intensive actions such as video editing and disk writing are noticeably faster. I did not replace the original hard drive, opting to retain it as a dual boot drive using VISTA due to the cost of purchasing several replacement software programs at the same time.

Buying an SSD. Be careful. Just about all the cr@p out there is TLC (inferior) nand technology. Even many of the Sandisk products are TLC. But this particular drive is still MLC. Pay attention when you buy an SSD and avoid the TLC (majority) products. They are garbage. Of course, if you don't care if you lose your data, get a TLC drive. This SSD Plus product is a fantastic MLC product. Never had a failure yet.

This SSD will boost the performance of your laptop or desktop. The drive is super fast. Easy to install into your computer system.

Ample amount of space. Good price. Fast Drive. Have used a few of these drives and they have been reliable.
