After seeing what a pain it was to wait for upgrades to install on my wife's computer, I decided to swap out the 5400rpm drive for a solid state drive. This SanDisk drive had good reviews and the price was good. I installed it easily and got Windows installed. I had an enclosure to use with the old hard drive. So, copying over all of her files was really easy. She loves how fast her computer is now.

Every computer I build or rebuild and most laptops I replace the drive with an SSD drive. Machines boot in under 7 seconds and actually perform like they should.

Was looking for an inexpensive SSD. Went to buy the Samsung 850 evo which was on sale but found it was out of stock. Saw the SanDisk SSD PLUS even cheaper (on sale for $75), so bought that instead. After purchasing, I read some online reviews which suggested this was not as fast as some of the slightly higher priced drives. I installed it in a 3 year old laptop which ran like a real dog. After doing a clean install of windows 10 on this Ssd (and upgrading ram from 4 to 8 Gb) the laptop runs really, really fast! I am completely happy with the results and at a very afordable price.

I likened upgrading my mechanical hard drive to a SSD like driving an Indy race car instead of a school bus. Great improvement in speed and getting things done.

Installed it on my 5 year old laptop and it went from being a frustration waiting for things to load to surprisingly fast. Saved me hundreds on a new laptop.

While higher cost than a spinning disk, waiting for the frequent sales can help. Excellent speed boast. Yes some technical steps are required to clone your original OS, but there is lots of help and needed tools on the web that make it doable for most people willing to give it a try. Do get the size that will allow significant free space and avoid filling this too full to assure good SSD performance.

I believe there are finer details to SSD, but bought these to update family PCs. Life changing.. SSD in general. 12-15 second PC boot times from complete power off. This is the single most important upgrades you can do to ANY system new or old. This particular one functions as intended without issue.

I actually use these in my desktop. Its the same SATA connection (you need your own cable tho) and same power connection. It's great I get 500+ Mbps so my big games load crazy fast, and my boot time is like 15 sec. There are adapters here and on amazon that will fit the drive into a normal 3.5" HD slot or a 5.25" CD Drive bay to hold your new HD securely. Tho sometimes masking tape does the trick :)

This was perfect for me. It saved me from having to buy a whole new labtop. Definitely would recommend it to anyone whose hard drive is beyond repairable.

Needed to replace my bad standard hard drive, have had good results with this one on previous replacements over standard hard drives. Highly recommended!

Had a HP laptop from 4 yrs ago with AMD processor. The old HD crashed and laptop was unbootable. Brought this and cloned my other HP laptop, slap this on unbootable HP and voila! It booted up in less then 30 sec and looked exactly like my other working hp and works the same except it wasnt a touch screen LOL. Programs works just as fast without lag. Definitely recommend it. Its like a new laptop.

put this on the worst laptop I have ever owned (Toshiba satellite) put Lubuntu 19.04 on it and now my husband wants it. It is very fast now starts up and shuts down in seconds. Had no trouble with putting the Lubuntu OS on this drive. I followed someones suggestions on a video on how to set partitions for Lubuntu and I am very pleased,

I bought this to replace my old HDD. It made my computer 5000 times faster. Definitely worth it. I'm going to replace all my hard drives with this ssd.

I was really surprised and happy with this purchase! It seemed to speed everything up and things are running extremely smoothly now. Highly recommend!

It’s exactly what you would expect- an inexpensive SSD with decent performance. It was put in an old MacBook Pro, and it feels like a new computer.

I have an old core I3 laptop that just had the hard drive crash. I really only use it to surf the internet and sometimes VPN into work to check my emails. I decided to just replace the HDD with the SSD and the laptop now just flies. I couldn't believe the difference. It boots in seconds and even the apps seem to work faster. It's only been 2 months, so far so good.

My 1tb HDD took a nosedive so I installed this puppy. Very easy (except remembering where screws go). No other parts needed jus pop in and go. My computer recognized it. I reinstalled windows on fresh install cuz I backed my computer to cloud. 1tb was overkill sooooooo much faster like a new computer.

I needed to replace my old Hard Drive, so I decided to go for a SSD. Best thing I ever did with this product. Boot up time is less than 10 seconds.
