Great price for a decent thumb drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The combination of Best Buy's temporary discount price, large capacity (128 GB) and fast speed (USB 3.0) was what made me decide on this particular drive. It works as advertised. My only negative comments are: the actual storage capacity is less than stated (which is common for all thumb drives) and the "Vault" program is cumbersome to utilize. I still prefer to use the "drag and drop" method to transfer files. No doubt, the Vault program included with the drive eats up some of the memory. Also, the data sync function is a paid feature. Don't know how well it works. I don't want to pay for something I don't really need.

Backed up 70GB iPhoto Library

It was a bit snug plugging it into Apple's USB dongle and removing it, so be careful with those steps. I'm glad to have all this instant storage at an amazingly low price and will buy another one a.s.a.p.

Ultra 128GB USB3.0 Flash Drive: works great

Large capacity for a small price (on sale)

I was able to copy all of my files to use as a backup and transfer to the computer at our winter home. I had lots of space left over. Everything copied and transferred flawlessly.

A Robust thumb drive with lots of space and value.

The SanDisk 128 gb thumb drives do just that. Not everyone has a high speed internet set up so these thumb drives are a value solution to large file transfer. The fact that they are affordably priced and available at Best Buy makes it all the better. I have purchased about 8 of these drives in the last year. The only thing I have to do is reformat to the proper file system that lets me transfer files larger than 4 gb. That happens simply and quickly. If SanDisk could make a way to label them on the outside, that would make them 5 stars instead of 4. Not a deal breaker, so buy them, you won't regret it.
