    When plugged into UBS 3.0 port om my laptop, it didn't always work. Either it doesn't work at all, or sometimes it shows as a drive, and then it just disappears and doesn't work. It worked ok when plugged into USB 2.0 port. Bottom line: I would not recommend this as USB 3.0 , but it's OK as USB 2.0

    I got several of theses (varying size) to go with my new laptop and they work like they should EXCEPT they get EXTREMELY hot with minimal use. A few minutes use and the metal is near burn your fingers hot. Even just leaving them connected but not actively used causes them to heat up. So I have to grab the file I want and disconnect quick. Would not buy these again.
