Customers are saying

Customers love the Ultra 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive's massive storage capacity, ease of use, and affordable price. Many appreciate its compact size and fast USB 3.0 transfer speeds. While some users noted that the drive can get warm during large transfers and that the design is not their favorite, the positive feedback on storage, usability, and value outweighs these concerns. Overall, it's considered a great option for storing and accessing large amounts of data.

Great Storage Device For Great Price

I only purchase these large capacity flash drives from Best Buy when they're on massive sale (which seems to be more frequently as of late). They are great for storing pictures that I have taken so that I can transfer the images onto the flash drive and save up space on my laptop hard drive. Plus they are convenient, portable, and less likely to fail if you were to drop it, unlike an external hard drive. I usually end up picking these up when they're around $25-$50 depending on how badly I need them, and it's always nice to have a backup to my backups :P.

    Homelab Workhorse

This security key has proven to be an absolute workhorse for my homelab and core infrastructure needs. It's solid, physically robust, and provides essential security for my hypervisors and VMs (Dell 5070s, 7040). I've constantly flashed and tested it across differing Linux distros (Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu) and it holds up without fail. Its quality as a FIDO2/U2F device is Excellent. My only slight deduction is for the initial setup complexity. Getting it properly configured with some Linux kernels and certain applications (like SSH/GPG) requires a deeper dive and some patience. This isn't a plug-and-play setup for the average user, but for the enthusiast building a robust, secure environment, it’s unbeatable value and performance.

I am a writer and needed a new easy to use USB drive to store my newest book. I needed a good drive with enough memory to store the book covers and the book story itself so I could take it with me or transfer all the elements to the printer or into my computer.

I like these flash drives. They are sturdy and well made. I have unfortunately purchased some flash drives that were flimsy and could easily be install upside down. My only complaint about the drive is the width of the drive, which sometimes prevents me from plugging it in when there are other usb jacks next to it.

Geek Squad staff suggested I purchase a Sandisk to download the many photos in my laptop. They downloaded all my photos on this disk which left much needed space for new data.

I was walking through my local Best Buy store when I came across their selection of USB flash drives. I found that the SanDisk USB drives were greatly reduced in price. I picked up two 128gb drives for $23 each. (They had 256gb drives for $35 too., all were usb 3.0 compatible for speed too.) Anyway, great deal all the way around. Especially useful for storing files and music when you are on the go. Definately would recommend to all my friends

The storage capacity for the price is amazing and the speed is comparable to the 64gb model, which surprised me. I’ve bought 3 of these because they have an incredible amount of storage capacity and take up virtually no space on my desk. After reformatting one of these to NFTS I can now store files over 4 Gigs, which is great, since it saves me the trouble of having to always use an external hard drive. Flash drive technology has come a long way in the last 15 years. I remember having a 128 mb scandisk back in the day and being amazed at the capacity. Flash drives have completely left DVDs and other optical media in the dust.

This 128 GB flash drive is able to back up what I have on my laptop. I have many pictures, documents and videos. I have 1TB on my laptop but have barely used any storage do this works for me. It downloads quite fast with 3.0 port. It's portable and easy to store. Eventually I will back up my laptop with an external hard drive. For now it suits my needs.

I bought this item for the use of transferring large files across computers and at that it excels. It is USB 3.0 and accordingly is fast. I also was able to buy it in sale for a price that was quite literally the best deal in storage I have ever witnessed. If you need this amount of storage, this is definitely the best option. If you don't need this much capacity, there are options from this line that will fit any need.

    SanDisk® Reputation for Good products

Since I just received this flash drive in the mail and have yet given it a thorough 'test drive', this is a conditional review and will be modified from this high ranking if I encounter any problems with this device. Most if not all of my flash drives have been SanDisk® and all have been great, without problems, thus my reasoning for providing this early review. It is great to see the cost of these devices drop in price yet improve on features. I purchased this SanDisk Ultra 128GB 3.0 USB flash drive from one of Best Buy's one day promotional deals and used a $15 coupon I had earned via points with my membership. With free shipping for this one device, I got this for less than $28!! That is awesome. I love having flash drives on hand for myself and kids to use. Through the years I have several 8 or 16GB flash drives I "loan out" to my kids to use for school work and not worry too much if I don't see them again. Having a collection of 64 GB or larger flash drives is very valuable to have in case of emergency or some urgent project to share or an urgent backup needed. I now have a new threshold or goal to purchase future flash drives - $30 or less for a 128 GB 3.0 usb SanDisk® Ultra...or better!

Bought this memory stick on the fly returned a mini memory stick that was DOA and Best Buy had nothing in stock to replace it with the one I bought on sale at a very good price, So I bought this one instead bigger and easier finding than the tiny one I originally bought . This one is very fast and a lot of room for big files. Does not heat up like a lot of these sticks do highly recommend

It transfers way faster than a 2.0. As long as you have a 3.0reciever on your lap top it will work properly. the memory is good too but you may need more than one depending on what you want to put in there. Cheap cheap cheap cheep cheeeeep cheap and probably will be getting cheaper in the future.
